-Peculiarity-

The assiduous hustle and laughter of the village was a surprise considering this was a demon village. It was particularly intimidating when each passerby would glare at their direction in speculation and hungry-desire. She recoiled behind the safety of the little girl’s hair, meanwhile said girl continued humming to herself like this wasn’t anything new or extraordinary or frightening. Normally if she was in her previous size, she wouldn’t hide behind a child, but in this form, she was an easy treat for any being.

There was a sizable gap in the throng of the populace, each person desperately getting out of the way of the demon lord, who acted all princely in his royal swagger. Kagome couldn’t help but admire him now, when before she was more focused on the confrontation between him and Inuyasha to give a hoot about his appearance and elegance. She couldn’t say he was hideous; in fact he was far, far from that. She sighed while they continued to their unknown destination, preoccupied with the delicate sway of silver tendrils to give any vigilance of her surroundings.
