-Apology Denied-

A dog is a man’s best friend. What a load of rubbish, Kagome brooded to herself; the former was true while the latter was complete nonsense. She said one thing, and frankly she wasn’t anticipating it to literally happen. No wonder the petulant dog demon was behaving the way he was now. She shook her head, astounded that even a demon lord with centuries to his name was superstitious. She didn’t mean for the damn owl to plunge down and try to seize her with its sharp, little beak.

“Sesshomaru, I am sorry.” She tried to jerk her hand from his grasp, but it was proving to be quite difficult. Although she wasn’t expecting any less from a demon with Herculean strength, anymore jarring movements and he might was well break her wrist off and she rather enjoy having her wrist intact.

“Silence, children should be seen and not heard.”
