Prompt: Irritable

-Mocking Truths-

With an exhalation that tickled her back, Kagome was glad to leave the confinements of the castle and was once again on the road searching. Searching for a mysterious magician by the details Sesshomaru sparsely gave her. It would prove tricky, during her travels she haven’t encountered any rumors about any magician, only of rogue priestesses, monks and deranged demons.

“Sesshomaru, how are we gonna find this magician if even I haven’t heard of him from my travels?” She asked.

“Undoubtedly your companions have not traveled to any demon villages.” Sesshomaru graced her with an answer, knowing there’s truth behind his words. Kagome muttered to herself, catching the slight mocking tone in his voice. She wondered if he talked to everyone similarly, but so far he only displayed his displeasure each time he felt generous to bestow a comment.

“That would have been dangerous for us.” She stated, feeling her eyebrow twitch with annoyance at his next words.

“Undoubtedly so.”
