A/N: I could't help but make another story. I will be using different prompts from the various challenges found here. Also to the review posted about this first chapter, I'm going to say three little words....I DON'T CARE! :) Enjoy the story!

Prompt: Scent

Sesshomaru paused; the heavy patters of his ward rang in his ears while the enthusiastic murmurs talked to an unknown company. A twirl of gust fluttered by, carrying a fragrance of vanilla and golden peaches. He found this strange as his ward smelled of the woodlands whiles his retainer, an unbearable stench. Taking another whiff, there was a distinctive stench of human while an alluring aroma of wizardry overpowered the original. What was it?

“Sesshomaru-sama! Look what Rin found!” The little girl skipped closer, bringing her clasped hands towards the demon lord. She opened them and a little figure appeared. “Can Rin keep her?” Her bright eyes gleamed up at him with hope.

His eyebrow twitched at the sight of Inuyasha’s wench.
