A Surprise Birthday Party

This is written for the challenge of of Riku Ryu’s “Cake”

Now it was Sessh’s 150th birthday, all their pups were going to be there for their father.

Mom was planning to have a marble(chocolate and vanilla) cake , several in fact, all decorated to his liking, with blue roses, and chocolate designs, red roses with caramel and nuts, yellow roses with chocolate leaves, and chocolate frosting with blue, red, and yellow roses , all saying,

“Happy Birthday Dad, Happy 150th Birthday”

All 5 broods of older pups, all mated with their pups were coming to his party…

Now his pups were keeping Sessh busy with projects in his electronics company, Tashio Electronics…

One had him working on a Social Network Security issues, the second had him working on a virtual reality technique issue, both hard to solve…

Thus they all gave him fits, with electronic problems, improving the company…

As mom checked the books, sections of the company and security…

Mom also checked the cakes, the food, all his favorites, beef stroganoff, lasagna with turkey sausage, extra tomato, spinach, and sweet onion with tender noodles and sweet Vidalia onions tomato sauce…

With horse’ derves of rich, buttery crackers with sharp cheddar, goat, blue cheese, and turkey pepperoni with turkey breast, smoked, honey, or pepper…

Now she planned it for a month, just as their projects were finally completed, and  they lured a dog tired Papa home to his mansion and all his family, his father, her father ,Inu/Shiori, Miroku/Sango(rose demons like her),and  Shippo/Kirara….

Now the pups helped her, halving her work, the mansion was full of banners, and sake plus milk for the pups…

The mansion was dark when they returned from work, happy but tired, as soon as he walked in the door, his pups said,

“Surprise Pop, Happy 150th Birthday from all of us, all of us with our pups…”

Then they turned on the lights in the dining room, food and drinks as far as the eye could  see, but it was the cakes that caught his eye, with blue roses and chocolate swirls plus leaves, red roses with caramel and nuts, yellow roses with chocolate leaves and chocolate icing with blue/red/ and yellow roses, and his final cake, a German chocolate with cream cheese frosting with blue tea roses-edible….

Carried by his wife in his favorite negligee, midnight blue with black lace in a matching robe, slippers, hair loose, red  lacquered lips, showing her fangs and thorns, with a fork ready for him,

“Surprise mine husband, taste my cake, I know  you will love it, your favorite, German Chocolate with cream cheese frosting with edible blue roses, Darling open up!”

When he did all of his senses were opened up, that chocolate packed a punch!

Then she popped an edible rose on his mouth dipped in cream cheese and chocolate, and his control was gone..

As the family laughed,

“Leave it to Kagome to make a cake that made him lose control, more pups on the way, children, she plans to love him under the table….

That cake will keep him busy for over a week, children we will help you!”

As they took up food, sake, and the rest of mom’s cake, mom opened the door, nodded and smiled, feeding her husband more cake!

She kept him in her bed for a week, as he never regained his control and she lost hers, all thanks to her German Chocolate cake with edible roses…
