When Truth Becomes The Lie by Moonlight-Maiden

What Have I Done?

Sesshomaru looked at the pitiful creature laying on the floor before him. Her nude body was covered in blood from the injuries he had inflicted upon her. Why she was going though this hell, she didn't know. All that ran through her mind was ways to calm the angry demon, and how to survive.

She lifted her head, gently moving the hair from her face, and gazed at the lord. How could someone look so angelic, yet be so cruel?

"Sesshomaru, please, tell me what I have done? What did I do to deseve this?" She asked him, her voice breaking. She hated how weak she sounded, but she just didn't have the will to fight left in her anymore. She wasn't sure of how long she had been kept here, but it felt like eternity. She wasn't even sure how he had been able to capture her. But she didn't have time to think about that now. The demon lord's eyes were beginning to bleed red again, and she had just enough time to close her own eyes before she felt the force of his hand connecting with her face.

"Miko," he said, grabbing her hair and dragging up to a standing position. "This Sesshomaru knows full well that you are aware of what you did. No one else would be daft enough to commit such a mornic deed." With his last word he threw her to the wall. He knew she was the only one that could've done this.

His castle had been attacked, his guards purified. He could sense the strong spiritual energy when he returned from patrolling his lands, along with his half-brother's scent. He had just offered the hanyou his aid in the battle against Naraku, and this how he was to be repaid? No.

He turned his back to her, walking towards the door. He gave her one final glance, and spoke in an icy voice. "Miko, prepare yourself. Tomorrow will decide your fate." And with that, he left her alone in pure darkness.

The whole time she had been his captive he had to contain himself. He wanted to break her in every way; mind, body and spirit.  He had beaten her to near death, as well as starved her for the past three days, knowing that all this work would pay off when he forced her to swallow her pride and please him. He would make her beg for his forgiveness and mercy, and if she did as she was told, he may let her live. Well, her body anyway. He had every intention of destroying her mind, and killing her spirit. And once she was a living doll, InuYasha would see the cost of crossing the Western Lord.

A/N: Well, should I continue this story, or leave it as a oneshot?
