Sesshomaru chased the young Miko though the forest, he was surprised at how far ahead of him she had gotten, but her breathing was loud and stressed to his ears, he would not have a problem finding her at all.  Another dark chuckle left his lips.

Kagome was running as fast as she could, sending little sparks of power behind her to hopefully slow him down some.  Not that it was working entirely well.

I’m dead, I’m dead, I’m dead, I’m dead!  The voice in her head cried out.

Sesshoumaru could see her now and the shimmer of her powers that reflected on her skin.   It made her all the more enticing as the demon lord sped and disappeared and then reappeared in front of Kagome.

Oh fuck.  Kagome thought as she looked up at the imposing demon lord.
