“What is this?”  Kagome asked as Manabu handed her a gorgeous silver choker with a large amethyst hanging down in the middle. 

“This, my dear Kagome, is to help you along your way.  This amethyst will enhance your natural ability as a priestess to receive visions and see the future.  It will help and on occasions warn you of things that you need to know.  Be cautious though, the things that you may see will take a large toll on your body and they will be quite painful at times.”  Manabu warned her.

“I thank you for your warning, and I will cherish this Mana.”  Kagome said as she gave her teacher a large hug. 

“You are welcome, my star.”  He said as he return her hug with equal fervor.
