All the things that they could hold

Kagome wasn’t quite ready to go bed after Akane was done with her that evening and with some directions she made her way to the library.  And all the books she found!  It was as if she had passed into heaven.  She spent the first few minutes racing around the room just in awe of them all but eventually she had indeed settled down.  She sat down in a large comfy chair with a book in front of her, it was about mikos and their different powers.  She thought perhaps if she could study this that she could learn more about her powers and in turn she could control them, shape them to her will.  She liked this idea very much, after all she was going to be at his side, she should be able to adequately protect herself as well as warn those around her that she was not to be trifled with.  After about an hour of captivated reading though Kagome felt herself slowly slip into her dreamworld and the book fell from her hands with a gentle thud.  What she didn’t know was that there was someone approaching her the very moment in which she fell asleep.
