"Sesshoumaru," she whispered, shaking him by the shoulder. "Wake up! Sesshoumaru!"
He stirred slightly and Kagome shook him harder, cursing under her breath since she couldn't leave him there.
"Damn it, Sesshoumaru!" She yelled, slapping his chest in irritation. His golden eyes suddenly snapped open as he seized her wrist in a tight grip, halting her movements. His gaze zeroed in on Kagome and, upon realizing who she was, released her. He slowly sat up. "What --"
"Don't tell me you're homeless," Kagome stated bluntly, crossing her arms.
His eyes widened, then narrowed, resolving to correct her insulting assumptions.
