Gone

Author's Note

Hello everyone. Just so everyone know's I don't own these characters. No matter how much I wish that I might. And also, just incase this story might look somewhat familiar, it is a revised story from my fanfiction account. Also, everything in itialics is a flashback of Sesshoumaru's memories. And I also know that he is out of character but just bear with me. It came to me randomly. But everyone enjoy and please review and tell me what you think of it.

"Kagome, why are you doing this to me? To us?" Sesshoumaru screamed.

They where both standing in the small apartment that they shared togethor. It was a disastor. Broken glass lay scattered on the floor from a lamp that had been busted just a few moments earlier.

"Because Sesshoumaru, we've been togethor for almost two years now and I still don't even know you. You barely talk to me, let alone even acknowledge my exsistance. I can't stand it anymore!"

Sesshoumaru's gazed turned cold in retaliation to her harsh words.

"And what makes you say that?"

Kagome sighed and began to rub her temples,"Because, just look at you. I say one thing to you and you've already shut me out. You hide everything from me, while I hide absoutly nothing from you." She stopped rubbing her temples and looked at him square in the eye,"I can't do this anymore Sesshoumaru. I just can't!"

Sesshoumaru just stared at her while she turned away from him to go pack her things. While his face showed nothing, he died little by little inside with every step that she took away from him.

He didn't know what to think anymore. The only thing that he really cared about was stepping away from him, most likely for good. His walls where starting to crumble. He couldn't keep up the mask of indiffrence anymore. I lone tear slid down his cheek.

He began to walk toward her, but for every step that he took, she took two steps away from him. His heart began to shatter. The pieces just falling into a black abyss, never to be put back togethor again. Another tear began to slide down his cheek, until it slowly became a steady flow.

"Tell me what I can do to fix this Kagome," he pleaded.

"There is nothing you can do. The damage is already done. You won't ever see me again after tonight."

He felt lost. There was nothing that he could do as she turned around and walked out of his life for good.

The memory had been playing over and over again in his mind for hours as he stood outside. The Goshinbuku, her favorite place. He stared up at the ancient tree, thinking of nothing but her. Her smile. Her laugh. Anything and everything.

He grabbed the bottle out of his pocket. He had planned everything perfectly. Nothing could be done. No one would be able to save him. He would leave this world, and the pain that had been inflicted on him.

He unscrewed the cap and downed the whole botte of pills. There was enough medicine in that battle to kill a horse, let alone a grown man. He then grabbed the knife out of his pocket, along with her picture. She would be the last thing that he ever looked at in this world. That was the way that he wanted it. He wanted his mind, body, and soul to be filled with nothing but her.

It was to late for that though. He had failed her. Now she was gone.

He took the knife, and pressed it into his wrist.

"Farewell my beautiful Kagome," he whispered, before dragging the knife all the way up his arm.

As blood began to puddle around him, he fell back against the Goshinbuku, and grabbed her picture. Her smiling face filled him with so much joy. If only he could have showed her how much.

His eye sight began to blurr. Tears of regret began to fall down his cheeks. He had loved this woman more than anything in the world. He wished her happiness in her new life, even though he could not be there with her.

As his world began to go black, he looked up into the sky. His very last breathe was used to whisper her name into the heavans.

His body sagged against the tree then. Even though this being had been put through unimaginable pain, he died with a smile on his face and with the picture of the woman he loved more than life laying on his chest. Over his heart.
