Dance Dance
A/N : I don't own Inu Yasha, or Dance Dance by Fall Out Boys. Wish I did, but if wishes were fishes... (I still woudn't get any, lol). So here you go. Read on Inu Lovers, Read on.
She says she's no good with words but I'm worse
Barely stuttered out
"A joke of a romantic" stuck to my tongue
Weighed down with words too over-dramatic
Tonight it's "it can't get much worse"
Vs. "no one should ever feel like.."
~~~~~~~~
Kagome stared at her long time boyfriend. She just couldn’t believe it! There he was, supposedly not feeling to well, even for being a hanyou, in the middle of a rain storm, in a clearing, in the middle of the woods! And with her, no less!
She rubbed her eyes, thinking she was just having a day dream. After all, she’d just got done talking to Sango, her best friend since who knew when anymore, on her cell phone about Inu Yasha and the possibility of him cheating on her. Of course, at the time, even if it had been five minutes ago, she’d laughed it off, saying Inu Yasha would never cheat on her. He loved her. Not to mention, they had been dating for four years now. Sango had said it was just a thought, seeming as he’d been getting sick a lot lately.
After removing her hands from her eyes, she realized it wasn’t a day dream. This was the real deal. Red hot anger welled up in her. She couldn’t believe that Inu Yasha was standing a few feet away from her with her TWIN SISTER!!! Now she knew why Kikyou had been so secretive about her sudden and new boyfriend.
Normally, Kikyou would start out as friends with a guy and introduce them to all her friends. She’d let them get to know her and she’d get to know him. After a while, she’d consider them as a boyfriend or not, depending on how well they got along. But with this new ‘boyfriend’, it had been sudden. She hadn’t done the ‘let’s be friends and see where it goes from there’ thing she normally did. She jumped into this one and wouldn’t answer any questions about him. She just said he was an excellent kisser and Kagome would really like him, if it ever got serious enough for Kagome to meet him.
She had believed her sister. But now, she knew why Kikyou didn’t tell her. And she knew why Inu Yasha was sick so often. Because Sango was right. And the more she thought about it, the more obvious it was that Miroku, Inu Yasha’s best friend, and Sango’s crush (he liked her too, but he was to much of a lecher to keep his hands to himself), had tried to discreetly warn her. She didn’t understand him at the time, but it all made sense now.
She glared at Inu Yasha as he wrapped his arms around Kikyou’s waist and bent down to kiss her.
“I promise you I’ll get rid of her. I want you Kikyou. I always have. I just didn’t know how to get to you first,” Inu Yasha’s husky voice reached Kagome’s ears.
Her eyes widened. He just used her for four years to get to her sister? How could he be so low? How could he be so uncaring?
Kikyou smiled sweetly and closed the distance between their lips. Their kiss was passionate and hard. Almost to the point where someone would think they would’ve needed it. As they pulled away from each other to breath, Inu Yasha stared down at her sister with passion filled eyes.
“I love you Kikyou. I love you more then the sun and the moon could know. I love you more then the stars in the sky could shine brightly. I love you more then the tallest wave and more then the sweetest gems and metals. Gods, I love you,” he whispered.
Kikyou’s eyes widened with unshed tears. “Oh, Inu Yasha! I don’t know what to say!” she cried out.
“Say you love me too,” he replied.
Kikyou nodded. “Of course I love you.”
Kagome fumed to herself quietly. He said he was horrible with expressing himself, yet here he was, doing it as if he’d been doing it his whole life! She could have told him she loved him more then anything, but she couldn’t express the rest. She couldn’t speak like a damned poet or author could! But he was always worse. He would ‘Feh’ or called her onna and she’d know in his own way he was saying he loved her, but now it seemed he had lied to her. What had changed?
She shook her head and slowly turned away. As she began to move away from the clearing, she heard Inu Yasha ask one last question.
“Kikyou, please be my mate?” he asked.
She didn’t wait for Kikyou’s reply before she took off at a run. She didn’t want to hear anymore. She didn’t want to see anything more. She just wanted to get away from it all. She heard her cell phone go off as she finally reached the trail again. Glancing down at the screen, tears pooling from her eyes, she read the name. Honey it read. She glared at it. Inu Yasha had the nerve to call her after what she just saw? How the hell could he?
After a minute, she realized he didn’t really know she saw it. So she decided to answer it.
~~~~~~~~
I'm two quarters and a heart down
And I don't want to forget how your voice sounds
These words are all I have so I'll write them
So you need them just to get by
~~~~~~~~
She still loved him. Even if she hurt. She just couldn’t stop loving him. Nothing could make her stop loving him. Not even that stupid, god damn phone. She was supposed to go over to his house with the rest of her family to celebrate her sister and Inu Yasha’s mating. She glanced in her mirror at the end of her bed and stared at herself trying to figure out what it was about herself that he didn’t find attractive.
Was it her hair? It couldn’t have been. He was constantly smelling it. Constantly telling her he loved the length and the soft feel of it. Had even go so far to ask for her secret. Of course, she wasn’t about to tell him she conditioned it twice during a shower everyday to keep it silky and glossy. She didn’t tell anyone that. It was just a secret that was going to the grave with her. She was going to let everyone believe that her hair was naturally like that.
Was it her eyes? Were they too open for him? He always told her he could read her like a book through them. Told her constantly that she had the most unique eyes he’d ever seen. They were so blue, they almost looked purple.
Was it her nose? He never said anything about her nose. It was plain looking, yes. She’d give him that, but so was Kikyou’s. They were almost identical besides the eyes and the facial features.
Was it her hands? Maybe they were to small for him? Or her breasts? Were they not big enough? She was a C cup after all. Or was it her height? Kikyou was still the same height as her. Maybe it was her hips. They did seem a little narrow to her prying eyes. Maybe her legs. It could be her legs.
She sat at her desk and glanced at the ceramic box she had made while she was still in high school. She kept all his notes to her in that box. Maybe she’d be able to find something in there that pointed to her flaws.
Scanning over them, she couldn’t find anything. Nothing at all pointing out her nasty habits that might have gotten on his nerves. Nothing that screamed ‘I don’t find you attractive!’ But there was an abundant amount of evidence pointing that he was interested in her sister. Why hadn’t she noticed it before?
She threw the letters back in the box as her mother knocked on the door and informed her that they were leaving in a few minutes and to be downstairs.
~~~~~~~~
We’ll own your thoughts
We’ll own the song stuck in your head
We’ll leave you kicking and screaming
So you can thank us in the end.
~~~~~~~~
She wanted to scream. She wanted to tear everything apart. She couldn’t take it anymore. They were dancing to THEIR SONG! The NERVE of Inu Yasha! He knew it was his and Kagome’s, yet he had decided to use it for him and Kikyou for their ceremony!
She wanted to purify him to the lowest level of hell. She wanted to personally introduce him to Satan himself. He was doing it on purpose! She just knew it.
She narrowed her eyes at the couple and made to leave the table, noticing that, as she stood up, Inu Yasha’s half-brother was watching her. She snarled at the demon before turning around and walking out of the room and into the garden. She wanted nothing to do with anybody in that building. Nothing at all.
She felt the unbidden tears flow down her cheeks as the crowd clapped. She dashed them away as fast as she could. It wasn’t worth crying anymore. It was done and over with.
She vowed she’d never talk to either one of them again. And if they tried to, she’d purify him and kill her. She’d kill her so violently Kikyou would beg for mercy.
[Whispered:] We're going into D-Minor
Dance, Dance
We're falling apart to half time
Dance, Dance
And these are the lies you'd love to lead
Dance, this is the way they'd love
If they knew how misery loved me
~~~~~~~~
Inu Yasha’s half brother stood in front of her, an eyebrow raised. She glared at him and turned her head. She didn’t want anything to do with Inu Yasha’s damnable family.
“Woman, what is your problem?” he asked.
Kagome scoffed. “Like you would care. Just go away.” She never took the time to remember his name. She remembered that Inu Yasha never liked him very much though, and would only call him bastard.
As the demon glared at her, her mind went into overdrive. Inu Yasha didn’t like him. Just as he knew that Kagome had issues with her sister. Well, if Inu Yasha wanted to play around a little, most likely at first to piss her off, then she could do it too. After all, she was single now.
“This Sesshoumaru does not take kindly to orders, wench,” the demon coldly stated.
Kagome glanced at him out of the corner of her eye. “What do you want anyway?” she asked.
“You left your sisters mating ceremony. Why?” he asked.
Kagome rolled her eyes. “She’s horrid. She took him away from me. And the worse part is, she knew. She knew what she was doing. I mean, how could you not after someone’s been dating the same guy for four fucking years? And the saddest part is that he never once tried to get me to bed!”
Sesshoumaru raised his eyebrow as an evil smirk took over his face.
~~~~~~~~
I only want sympathy in the form of you crawling into bed with me
~~~~~~~~
Sesshoumaru’s searing lips pressed against Kagome’s own. He roughly opened his bedroom door and toppled them into the room, throwing the door closed behind him. Kagome answered him fully as she fought with his clothing, trying to get it off. She wanted this right now.
Sesshoumaru pulled away from her lips and traveled down her neck, listening to her moan. The sound drove him wild. Without second thought, his claws tore threw her clothes and they fell to the ground. He drunk in her body, finding it to be possibly the most perfect thing in the world.
She had managed to finally get his shirt off and get his pants unbuckled. As soon as she had pushed them off his thighs, he began moving them to his bed, tasting her skin while she pulled at his hair.
She reveled in the feelings Sesshoumaru caused to stir in her. Who could have thought someone Inu Yasha revered for being a human hater could fuck her to get her mind off of what was happening down stairs? But she didn’t dwell on that. Instead she found that his mouth had found her breasts as he pushed her onto his bed. She arched up and tried to speak his name. Of course, it came out unintelligible, due to the fact she had moaned at the same time.
Sesshoumaru smirked as his hand moved down to her hidden spot. His fingertips found smooth lips at his surprise. The little minx was quite naughty. He slipped his fingers in and listened as Kagome’s heartbeat and breathing sped up. Her hips moved up, trying to get him to move harder and faster, in which he complied.
She tossed her head back and forth, loving what he was doing to her. This was something she could get used to, even if it was a one time thing. She felt a finger slip deeper into her. “Oh, Sesshoumaru,” she groaned out.
He grunted in response, feeling his hard dick throb painfully. He liked his name coming from her mouth while he made her feel things she never felt before. No, that wasn’t right. He didn’t like it. He loved it. More then anything. But he didn’t dwell on the thoughts. Because right at that moment, thoughts weren’t important. Only actions. Actions to make her forget.
Kagome couldn’t take anymore as a searing white light blinded her momentarily. She called out Sesshoumaru’s name in the heat of passion. He growled in an answer and pulled up to meet her. He couldn’t hold back anymore, even if it was her first time.
With one quick thrust, he was all the way in her. Her back arched up to meet him, not feeling any pain. He smirked. Of course she wouldn’t feel the pain. She was different some how. Her walls were tighter then any virgin he’d ever have. She was so much more tighter, and she felt so much more better.
He rode her fast while she scratched his back with her blunt nails and pulled at his hair, the whole time tossing her head back and forth, moaning and groaning. Every time she came, she’d call out his name. He growled louder and louder in response. She seemed to last a lot longer then most women as well. This pleased him.
Without being able to hold it anymore, he came with a roar, as she finished with a loud yell of his name once more. They both collapsed onto the bed and stared at the ceiling above his bed in wonderment.

You always fold just before you're found out
Drink up its last call
Last resort
But only the first mistake and now...
~~~~~~~~
Kagome sat at the bar. She didn’t know what she was going to do anymore. Inu Yasha had wanted to be friends with her after he told her that he was mating Kikyou. She had agreed to it too. She thought that maybe she could change his mind before he actually went through with the process. But it failed.
Now he sat next to her with a hurt look on his face. He couldn’t even look at her.
“Why him? You knew I hated him,” Inu Yasha tried again.
Kagome shrugged her shoulders. “I just don’t know Yasha. He made me feel…” she trailed off, trying to find the right words.
“Did you do it to spite me?” he asked.
She couldn’t tell him the truth on that and risk losing his friendship over her virginity being taken. So she did the only thing she could. She ordered her last drink and slammed it. And then she turned to face him.
“No, I didn’t do it to spite you. I did it to forget. To forget my pain and suffering. I did it to forget the torture and the humiliation. I did it for my sanity,” she answered before turning around and walked out of the bar, leaving a disgruntled hanyou behind her.
~~~~~~~~
I'm two quarters and a heart down
And I don't want to forget how your voice sounds
These words are all I have so I'll write them
So you need them just to get by
~~~~~~~~
Kagome once again found herself in the fateful forest she had found Kikyou and Inu Yasha. She sat in the clearing she had found them in and stared into the forest around her. She had been ignoring Inu Yasha for a while now. Almost a month, if her mother was right, and even gone so far as to stay away from the Tashio manner all together.
Sesshoumaru was there. And he wouldn’t look at her. No, that wasn’t the worse of it. She had had time to think. And she realized that during that fateful act of forgetting (according to what she forced herself to believe), she found that she had feelings for him.
Not any kind of feelings either. No, this was as deep as Inu Yasha. And it probably was because of the fact that she gave him her virginity. And no other reason.
Yet, he refused to look at her. And Inu Yasha treated her differently. He almost shunned her constantly. Even went so far as yell at her for no reason one night when her sister, him and her had sat down to watch a movie over at his house. She stared into the night sky that was starting to show signs of an oncoming storm and tried to recall Sesshoumaru’s words.
She remembered him saying that she would forget her troubles on that day. That he would help her. Of course, she didn’t know how he had planed to do that until he had swept her up into his arms and given her a chaste kiss. That was all she could remember. And he hadn’t looked at her since.
Maybe he regretted doing it? She couldn’t figure it out.
~~~~~~~~
Why don't you show me the little bit of spine
You've been saving for his mattress, love
~~~~~~~~
She watched as Inu Yasha paced back and forth. He had called her over for a reason, but she couldn’t figure out why. He had taken her to his room, and when she said to go somewhere else, he said that Kikyou was out for the day shopping and it was ok. So she sat on the bed and watched him pace.
“Yasha, what’s up? You haven’t said a thing since I’ve gotten here. You wanted to talk to me, right?” she asked.
Inu Yasha stopped and looked up at her, almost forgetting she was there. He’d been thinking about how he was going to handle this. It was too delicate to just jump right into it.
He sighed. “Kagome, I don’t know any other way to put this then bluntly. Kagome, I want you. I want you badly,” he let out a huge sigh.
Kagome just watched him. She didn’t know what to say. She had come to terms that she wasn’t going to be with Inu Yasha, and here he was saying he wanted her.
“But you’re mated Yasha. You can’t break that vow. Ever,” she finished, standing up to leave. “I’m going to go.”
He quickly grabbed her arm to stop her from leaving. “Kagome, please. I want you more then anything. Please,” he begged.
Kagome shook her head. “I can’t. Neither can you Yasha. You know that.”
Without another word, Inu Yasha pressed his lips against hers. He could feel her stiffen and try to push away. He pulled away softly and looked into her eyes, trying to find an answer. None came.
“So you’ll fuck him, but not me? You said you loved me, and you knew me. You don’t know a damned thing about him,” Inu Yasha yelled.
Kagome glared at the man in front of her. “But it’s ok for you to drag me around for four years; pretend you love me and then leave me for my sister. Not to mention mate her, when that’s all I had been waiting for! If that’s the case, then I’d think you’ve committed a more serious crime here, Yasha. I was faithful to you. You went behind my back. Did you know that day when you called me, I had seen you two together in that forest? Did you know that Miroku had been trying to get me to see what you were doing? Did you know that even Sango thought you were cheating on me? But I didn’t want to see Miroku’s warnings. I didn’t want to even think about Sango’s thoughts. But when I saw you two, my heart shattered.
“So if anything, it was a worse crime you committed. All Sesshoumaru did was help me forget the pain and make me feel special. Make me feel wanted. Even if it was for one god damn time. And damn it, I enjoyed it Yasha! So stop throwing it in my face, or else I’ll start throwing you cheating on me in your damn face!” she yelled at him.
She yanked her arm out of his grip and stormed past him and her sister as she opened the bedroom door.
~~~~~~~~
Kagome had decided to go with Sango to the little café around the corner from her house. They hadn’t hung out together lately and every time Sango called, Kagome would only talk briefly before saying she had something to do. It was beginning to concern her.
“Kagome, what’s going on? Miroku says something happened between you and Yasha, but Yasha won’t say anything else. What’s wrong?” Sango finally asked.
Kagome looked over to Sango. She had caught sight of something silver walk in and realized it was Sesshoumaru. He knew she was there. He had to. But he ignored her.
Kagome shrugged. “We got into an argument. He wouldn’t take no for an answer. That’s all,” she answered.
Sango wearily eyed her friend. “What wouldn’t he take no for, exactly?” she tried again.
Kagome turned her head to look out the window. “Nothing important. He just tried to use the fact that I slept with his brother against me. Then I blew up at him. Do you know how much you can take of that kind of verbal abuse?” she turned to face her friend. “He does it every time he doesn’t get his way with me. It’s like his way of slapping me in the face. I’m tired of it. I want it all to stop.”
Sango glared at her friend. “What did he want Kagome? What did he want this time? Normally, you say if it’s something small, you’d do it instantly. But this was big. What was it, and don’t try to say nothing. And don’t try to lie to me.”
Kagome sighed and stared at her shake. She never drank coffee. After a moment, she decided that she should tell Sango.
“He wanted me. He wanted me to sleep with him. But I couldn’t. He couldn’t. I don’t love him like I used to Sango. I figured about a month after he mated Kikyou that I wasn’t ever going to get him again, so I resigned myself to it. That and I started getting feelings for someone else. He tried saying I’d sleep with his brother but not him. I blew up. I told him everything. I told him that you and Miroku knew. That you tried to warn me. I told them that I saw them that day, and I knew. I told him I enjoyed what me and his brother did. I told him that if he didn’t stop throwing my so called ‘betrayal’ in his face, then I’d do the same to him. And then I left, right as Kikyou was opening the door. She’s been trying to call me. Trying to figure out what happened. I don’t want to tell her that Yasha kissed me. I don’t want to tell her that Yasha tried to break their vows and take me to bed. I don’t want to break her heart. One’s more then enough.”
Sango stared wide eyed at her friend. “He tried to sleep with you?”
Kagome nodded her head. “I have to go.” With that, she stood up and walked out of the café, well aware that a silver haired demon was following her.
~~~~~~~~
Why don't you show me the little bit of spine
You've been saving for his mattress
I only want sympathy in the form of you crawling into bed with me
~~~~~~~~
Kagome slowed down to walk besides him. They were only a house away from her apartment building. She glanced up at him as she pulled out her keys.
“So you heard all that?” she asked, trying to act like it was nothing.
He nodded once at her.
She unlocked her door and lead him up the stairs to her door. “Do you want to come in? Have something to drink?” she asked, turning to face him.
He nodded again.
She opened the door and let him go before her. She watched him scan the room. He turned back to face her. “Where’s the demon?” he asked, smelling it in the air.
“Shippo? Oh, he’s probably at work right now. He’s my room mate and a friend. Nothing else,” she added walking to the kitchen, where she threw her purse on the table. “What do you want to drink? I’ve got almost everything.”
Sesshoumaru walked into the kitchen and watched her pull out a glass for some juice. “I am fine, thank you.”
She nodded her head. “So, what’s up?” she asked, trying to break the silence.
“Who are you seeing now?” he asked.
Kagome looked up at him. “No one. I’m actually not looking for anything right now,” she answered.
Sesshoumaru watched her closely, easily detecting her nervousness. “I heard you mention having feelings for someone. Who is that?” he asked.
She blushed and looked away from him. “Nobody. It doesn’t matter anyway. I’m not even sure he’s interested,” she answered, trying to busy herself with something else.
“Woman, don’t try lie to me. Who is it?” he asked again.
Kagome turned around to face him. “Don’t worry about it Sesshoumaru. Why did you want to talk to me? Why did you come here?” she asked.
Sesshoumaru watched her closely before deciding to answer. “I wanted to see you again.”
Kagome’s eyes bulged in disbelief. “You wanted to see me. Why?” she asked.
“Because I find you interesting and attractive,” he answered.
Kagome blushed. “Well then, what do you want?” she tried again.
He smirked as he drew her close to him with his arms around her waist. “I want you. More then a one time thing. A life time thing,” he answered, keeping his eyes locked with hers.
She didn’t know what to say. He was proposing to mate her, and even though she had realized that she loved him (even through that one night, which was almost a year ago) she didn’t know what to say. So her body answered for her. She leaned up and kissed him.
He deepened the kiss and lifted her legs around her waist. Their tongues met in a battle of dominance as he lead them to her bed room.

Dance, Dance

~~~~~~~~
Kagome smiled up at her new mate. Granted Inu Yasha was furious with her, she didn’t care anymore. She smiled up at him as he played airplane with their little boy, Kyo. Kyo looked just like his dad. And surprisingly, he had came out a full-blooded demon.
Kikyou smiled kindly from next to Kagome. She had eventually gotten what had happened out of Inu Yasha and still forgave him. She figured it would be natural for him to still have some feelings for her sister. After all, they did go out for four years.
Sango and Miroku sat across from them cuddled close together, whispering words of endearment. They had just started going out recently as well. Everyone had celebrated as soon as they heard.
Everything was looking up for Kagome.
Song Fic. Dance Dance by Fall Out Boys. Just read. I promise, it's really really good. XD!
thehotty: So yeah, this here's my first song fic.
Sesshoumaru: I think she did excellent.
thehotty: Thank you!
Kagome: I don't like the feelings you put me through.
thehotty: Yeah yeah. Anyway, I was thinking of turning this into a full story. Each with a song. If you all think that's a good idea, then let me know. Ok? Just review and say 'I want more!' and I'll do it. XD
Inu Yasha: She will, we promise!
Sango: Anyway, have a good one.
All: Ja ne!
