Prologue and Betrayal

~Preface~

Today was the three year anniversary to their defeat of Naraku.  After spending most of her teenage life in the feudal era of Japan, Kagome was ready to settle but Inuyasha had already chosen Kikyo over her. Kikyo was dead but a walking corpse of his once love he would never pick kagome over Kikyo. In a few days would be Kagome’s twenty second birthday having been in the Feudal era for seven years but the well was sealed and she couldn’t go home to her family. Maybe Things will be different as the day of her birthday comes closer also the day it all began for her and will she find someone deserving of her?

~Betrayal (weeks before the well sealed itself)~

“Inuyasha! SIT BOY!” Kagome yelled angrily at the arrogant Hanyou with a loud thud Inuyasha was in the deepest crater he was sat in. She stomped off into the Forest of Inuyasha, which he was named after, heading to the tree that Inuyasha was pinned to fifty-eight years ago by Kikyo. Sesshomaru was watching with a slight smirk on his face watching the girl walk away from his idiot half-brother.

“Hey Kagome why did you do that for? Kagome where are you going?” Inuyasha shouted after her catching his brothers scent nearby but he went after kagome trying to figure out what he had done to warrant a huge sit from her. Sesshomaru decided to hurt his brother by taking the girl to make the half wit give him the sword that rightly belongs to him. Kagome was breaking away from Inuyasha she sat under the tree in tears after seeing him with her hearing him pledge his undying love for Kikyo and making the promise to follow her into hell.

~In Inuyasha’s Forest~

‘Inuyasha you idiot... How can you...I thought we...this isn’t fair’ she thought to herself crying not hearing someone approaching but with the sudden burst of yokai she looked up to the golden orbs of Lord Sesshomaru of the West. She jumped back away from him looking away wiping the tears away so he won’t see her cry.

“Sesshomaru why are you here?” she said the fear leaking into her aura and voice as she stared at him. He could smell the salt of her tears wondering what his idiot half brother done to hurt the miko he watched as she wiped the tears away.

“This Sesshomaru wonders what the Hanyou did to upset you miko?” He said in an emotionless voice as he always did to everyone except rin. She looked away thinking back on what she heard and saw of Inuyasha and Kikyo.

“It’s nothing Lord Sesshomaru, I caught him with her again but its nothing new but what I heard was something” She said after lowering her gaze to the ground then looks up seeing Inuyasha gritting her teeth.

“Kagome, what did I do?” He said with his ears flattened on his skull. She looked at the Hanyou with such anger he took a step backwards.

“Inuyasha, I heard what you said to her your undying love and promise to follow her into hell as soon as Naraku was defeated and jewel was wished away.” She tried to say without crying in front of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha.

“You, heard that?” He gulped knowing it really hurt her by the look of tears welling up in her blue eyes. Sesshomaru was taken aback at what she said to his half brother. He didn’t know Inuyasha would betray a pack mate that had feelings for him and was the rightful alpha female of their little pack. She grabbed her yellow bag and took off through the woods to the hidden well; he followed her watching her get on the lip of the well grabbed her.

~At the Old Well~

“What are you doing little miko trying to hurt yourself?” He said softly holding her to him taking in her intoxicating scent begins to smell salt in the air.

‘She’s crying that idiot really hurt her after all the times I have observed her she is a kind hearted person that wouldn’t leave someone hurt’ he thought to himself letting her cry in his arms.

“I want to go home. I’m not from this era Sesshomaru I’m from 500 years into the future.” She replied softly feeling his body stiffen.

“That interests this Sesshomaru you will show me.” He said in a dangerous tone knowing she had to comply with his wish she prayed silently to let him through with her feels the wells ancient power accept her wish.

“Okay Lord Sesshomaru jump in with me and I’ll introduce you to my family.” She replied softly looking into the well as they jumped in hears him growl at the noises climbs the ladder to find him waiting for her.

Please Review.. it might take me a while to come up with the next chapter sorry guys.. sorry guys my microsoft word broke down and i am trying to get the full version as soon as possible but for now i might have to handwrite everything.. sorry i forgot that was the preface later on i will make the well seal so you get to see the last week kagome has at home before she goes back with Sesshomaru to the Fuedal era
