He hadn’t noticed before, but she really was stunning. Dressed in a purple mid-length gown and with her hair up, she was a striking woman.

“Good evening Kagome.” He rumbled in his low baritone.

“Hello Sesshoumaru.” she said, feeling the butterflies fluttering in her stomach. “Thanks for the help with that guy.”

He nodded once and checked the time. It was only 8.00 pm. He wasn’t the sort for useless small talk and she was feeling too nervous to start a conversation. So, the only thing they could do was enter the theatre. The tension was thick and hung heavy.
