Ever since Kikyo came into the picture everything has gone down. It was sad when we all thought that Naraku had killed once and for all. But ever since she finally made an appearance to us all. She seems to hate me. I mean she has been giving me dirty looks for a while, and I'm starting to get tired of it. And now, Kikyo is all that InuYasha seems to think about. Every time he sees her he won't look at me or talk to me. And worse is that Naraku is getting closer and closer to completing the Shikon Jewel. When will this torture ever stop.

Its night and InuYasha has been gone for over an our. He and Kagome had a heated argument about InuYasha leaving her to go see Kikyo the other night. She has always been good about it, but she was tired of him always ignoring her after he would go see the dead priestess. So he left for a walk, leaving Kagome with Sango, Miroku, Kirara, and Shippo at camp. Shippo and Kirara are asleep in a corner while the other three sit around a fire. After a while of silence Kagome stands and looks at Sango and Miroku.

"I think I will go and look for InuYasha before it gets too late."

They simply gave her a nod of approval and she left. Clearly they could see the sadness and heartbreak in Kagomes eyes. But, not wanting to question or bug her they just let her go. Sango looks at Miroku.

"I wonder how Kagome must be feeling since last night."

Miroku sighs and looks at Sango.

"I can't say that I have any idea my dear Sango, but I must say, she has to be some what angry." " I mean, he did go and sneak off to go see Lady Kikyo."

"Ya, I just feel so bed for her."

"My heart aches for Kagome as well." "But she is strong and she will find a way to make it."

Kagome is walking through the forest. She didn't want to find or talk to InuYasha right now. Although she did feel bad for lying to her friends so clearly, but she figured they would understand. All she wanted to do was walk through the thick and cool forest and think.

'No matter how much I try and want, InuYasha will never forget Kikyo. Or at least stop looking at me as if I am her. I mean, what does he see in her anyway. At least I'm not a walking pot.'

She sighs audibly.

'I guess I'm being unfair in a sort of way. She was his first love after all.'

She stops in the middle of a clearing only to see two people.

She gasps at the sight. There she sees not only Naraku, but Kikyo as well. And whats bugging her is how Kikyo is not only standing right next to Naraku, but she is smiling. She thinks.

'Doesn't Kikyo hate Naraku? Well, I guess she doesn't now.'

She didn't know whether to run or stay. Just seeing the looks on their faces made her wants to leave. She wanted to run as far as she could, but her legs wouldn't move. At least she managed to speak without studdering.

"What are you two doing here, and together?"

Naraku chuckled, and smiled.

"Why Kagome, we came here for you."

She instantly froze at the thought. Kagome was to caught up at staring at Naraku that she didn't even know Kikyo walked up to her. Coming back into focus and seeing Kikyo next to her almost made her jump. All she could do was stare at the dead women with confusion.

Kikyo couldn't help but smile as she walked to her reincarnation. How this girl came to be such a pain was beyond her. But now,she was finally going to take care of the woman who always got in the way of her and InuYasha. And then she and him could finally rest in Hell together. Even if she was getting help from Naraku.Such a vile half-breed she thought of him as. And seeing that innocent and confused look on Kagome's face, made her want to laugh.

Kagome just stood there. Eye to eye with the woman who was such a burden in her life. How she wanted to ask her so many questions as to why she was with Naraku, but she held her mouth closed. She quickly noticed Kikyo reach in to the sleeve of her hiori. Kikyo took one glance back at Narake and turn back to face her with a smile. Now, she was really starting to get nervous. And it didn't help with her mind screaming 'RUN! RUN! RUN!' Then before even knew what hit her Kikyo threw some sort of powder right in her face.

Kagome jumped back with a yell. She was frantically rubbing her face with the sleeve of her uniform shirt. Whimpering and and trying to move away she desperatly tried to get the stuff off, but it wouldn't. She couldn't really see since it got in her eyes, all she could hear were the laughs coming from Naraku and Kikyo. Now on her knees and losing conciousness, Kagome stopped trying to wipe the stuff off. She heard Naraku and looked at him.(with the best of her abilities)

"Sweet Kagome, I hope you enjoy your sleep." He said in a mocking voice.

With the last of her strength from losing the battle with conciousness. She managed to look at Kikyo and in a whisper she asked.

"Why?"

Then She fell to the ground, and with one last whimper. She fell into unconciousness and blacked out.

Kikyo and Naraku just stood there and laughed at how easy it was to get her. Naraku finally regained his composure and looked at Kikyo.

"I am a little disappointed. I thought she would have put up much more of a fight than this. It was almost too easy"

"Well, she is only a foolish girl."

"Hm"

"Now that she is unconcious, take her and get things prepared. We don't have a lot of time to spare."

"Alright then I'm sure you will know what to do."

Kikyo smiles, "Of coarse, it doesn't take much to get InuYasha distracted when I'm around."

Naraku smiles, "Alright then, lets get this plan into motion."

Kikyo starts to walk down the path that Kagome took. She just couldn't wait to see the face of her lover. Naraku then picks up Kagome bridal style and looks at her. He stares at her with admiration and thinks,

'Such a pretty girl. It's to bad I won't get to look at her like this in the future.'

And with that, he walks in the other direction into the forest with much enthusiasm.

"InuYasha, how foolish you are. And because of your stupidity, you will now have lost a second woman to my hands."
