A/N: Okay, so this is my first story, so I started with a oneshot that came to me. Forgive any errors, I'm new at this.
On with the Story!
She knew something was going to happen that day. She's had this feeling since she woke up. But for some reason, she didn't know exactly what was going to happen. She looked over to see her mate still asleep. She was quite surprised to see that her movements hadn't disturbed him. These premonitions didn't come as frequently as when the Shikon no Tama was still shattered.
Thinking of the jewel made Kagome remember of how she came to be here, with her mate. At times she still couldn't believe that the Taiyoukai had made her his mate. Sesshomaru, Lord of the Western Lands, was hers. During the final battle with Naraku; the demon lord had made a surprising appearance and together the brothers weakened the vile half-demon enough to where her purifying arrow was able to finish him off. Once they made sure that nothing remained, Kagome had made her way over to where the tainted jewel lay. Picking it up and bringing it close, Kagome purified it with her Reiki. She then made her wish.
After that everyone had assumed that she would have to go back to her own time, but they were proven wrong. Instead, Sesshomaru had approached her and told her that he intended to court her. On the next crescent moon they were mated. That was three years ago. Making her way, silently, to the nursery the Shikon Miko went to check on her two year old son. Everyone was surprised when the pup was born full inu. Most especially the pup's father. But somehow Kagome knew that he would be. Just like she knew that the one in her belly would be as well.
But still, there was that feeling. Like a bad omen. She knew that it would come, but not what or when. But when it did happen she would be prepared. And she, along with her mate, would face it together.
