Prompt: Fear (yaoi connotations)

Bankotsu lay in bed, looking over at his 'mate' who had his eyes closed. Yukio, the dark kitsune, glared at the human mercenary. "Your fear is stinking up the ambiance. If you play your cards right, I can make this mating worthwhile. All you have to do is relax."

Bankotsu stiffened as the kitsune took his lips into his, giving him a soul-searing kiss, causing him to relax. "See, you don't need to fear me. I don't bite...much."

Prompt: Passion

After a moment of passion, Yukio headed into the shower, taking Bankotsu with him. After several moments, they dressed, the kitsune assuming his female form. The mercenary looked over at his mate, who smiled. "You won't tell anyone you're really male, are you?"

Yukio still held that smile. "I told you it would be worth your while, as long as you stay away from that ex of yours. She'd only make you miserable. But me being male will be our little secret. Now let's get out of here." Little did Bankotsu know his ex, her mate and his half-brother knew everything.

Prompt: Sorrow

After that not-so-subtle warning, Bankotsu surprisingly felt no sorrow at losing Kagome to Sesshomaru. Maybe being with this kitsune wouldn't be so bad after all. Even though his mate was technically male, he could change shape like a typical kitsune. The mercenary decided to cut his losses and move on. Perhaps, this was the start of a rather exciting relationship as far as he was concerned, as long as he had nothing to do with Kagome. His life would have been miserable if he did.

Prompt: Control

Sesshomaru looked down at Kagome and it took a lot of effort to get his beast under control. He had really worn his new sleeping mate out the night before. After all, she was human. Sighing, Sesshomaru left the bedroom to take a cold shower in order to get his mind off the little minx. He was in a very good mood after everything that's happened with Kagome, Bankotsu and his new mate Yukio. Now if only Inuyasha would find someone, everything in the West would be perfect.

Prompt: Possessive

Inuyasha has just completed his latest mission. Eliminating his latest target, he came upon someone; a female in a work uniform who had come off her shift at work...and unwittingly witnessed him complete his mission. In a blink of an eye, the hanyou was upon her, blade drawn. However, he couldn't bring himself to kill her. Instead, he whispered in her ear. "Tell no one what you saw, not even the cops, or else you'll see me again."

He looked over at her nametag. "Rin, was it?" The hanyou found that she was actually attractive for a human. As he looked at her, a strange possessiveness overtook him.

"I'll come again for you one day. Go home and remember my warning." Rin nodded and ran to her home as fast as she could, in fear and in silence.

Prompt: Forgiveness

Months had passed since Rin's first encounter with the hanyou assassin and she was back at work at the small cafe down the street. She wondered what became of him. Although he threatened to kill her, she found the hanyou quite attractive with a rather nice build. If she did see him again, Rin would give him a good talking to. She just might forgive him on a few conditions; that she get to rub those adorable ears of his.

Suddenly, the little bell rang, alerting her of a new customer, who just happened to be the hanyou she encountered. Grinning, she approached him and promptly rubbed his ears before taking his order. This shocked the hanyou. No one rubbed his ears and got away with it. Rin leaned down and whispered in his ear. "That was for threatening me a few months ago. You know my name. It's fitting that you tell me yours."

"It's Inuyasha."

"Good. Now, may I take your order?"
