Savior

Beads of sweat trickled down Kagome’s forehead as she struggled to maintain her barrier. A little while ago, Tessaiga’s unexpectedly failed, leaving her vulnerable to Sasori’s relentless attacks.

At this rate, I won’t be able to last much longer, and Tessaiga’s still silent… A frown marred her features. Something must have happened to Inuyasha!

Kagome bit back a pained scream as the scorpion suddenly began hammering away at the small crack that appeared in her reiki shield.

Where is he?

Just then, a flurry of white silks and long silver hair entered her vision.

“Sesshoumaru-sama!” she breathed in relief.
