Chapter 76: Déjà Vu

“Rin.”

The little girl smiled brightly and nodded. “Yes, Sesshoumaru-sama! Let’s go, Ah-Un!” she said, gripping said dragon’s reins in her hands. Ah-Un took to the sky, leaving their Lord with the pretty miko and her silent companion.

Satisfied that his pack was a safe distance away, Sesshoumaru unleashed his youki. Engulfed in a scarlet tornado of swirling energy, he flicked his gaze over to Kagome – strangely wanting to see her reaction to his transformation – as his markings became jagged and his face elongated into that of a fearsome beast.

Kagome shuddered.

She remembered it well.
