Chapter 409: Think About You

The Western Lord felt content to leave the silence as it was.

He knew the woman he carried had questions. To some, he wouldn’t be able to provide the answers that would satisfy her. So, turning away from the blue eyes that were too wide and trusting, he kept his mouth closed in a firm line. A quick nuzzle behind her ear prevented the words of her concern from rolling off her tongue.

Not yet.

He did not wish to begin another argument so soon after her awakening.

He needed to take care of her first.

It was his responsibility.
