Chapter 267: Headache

“You don’t need to lead me anymore, Sesshoumaru-sama,” Kagome said softly, trying to pull away from his grip. Though it was obvious by the way his ears had twitched that he’d heard her, Sesshoumaru’s hold did not lessen. If anything, the inu-youkai was even more determined to keep her close.

A growl silenced her protests. Recognizing his tone from her months of staying at Satomi’s castle, Kagome pursed her lips and wondered about his behavior.

Maybe he was just cranky and needed a nap? She felt like having one.

Dreams were a bit easier to deal with, after all.
