Chapter 206: Onslaught

Claw-tipped hands clenched tightly, drawing red beads of blood to the surface of otherwise flawless skin. The pain was merely pinpricks of ice–the dosage of reality somehow numbing but sharp. His mind was in a hazy state, minor in its delusion, but intertwined with wisps of clarity.

Sesshoumaru’s gaze was heavy with disbelief, confusion, and…something else entirely. He found that there was no name for which he could describe the other feeling. He just knew there was a lot of it.

Unsettling and suffocating. Foreign and unfamiliar.

The flood of emotions overwhelmed him, and nearly had him gasping for air.
