The code

I'm the never seen shadow, the breeze on a dark cold night, i'm everything and nothing. I'm your greatest foe..... I'm an assassin, i've been alive for centuries, killed many and loved none. My motto is 'all you ever really need is a good fighting kimono and a great sword'. That's all i ever needed. I learned everything i know from my mentor one of the greatest assassins that ever lived. The great Naraku Onigumo, i trained with him everyday for two centuries. I'm sad to say he died about fifty years ago. Some demon slayer took him out, let me say that onna died by my sword. I'm human, but i have the life span of a demon, i'm also a miko. I stood atop a tree limb,my long black braid blowing in the wind, my brown eyes scanning the area, he was here, he was looking for me to deliver me my next mission. "Kagome," his voice sounded below me. "Koga" i said. "what is my new mission?" i asked. Koga said."the lord of the western lands, his name is Sesshomaru, i need you to take him out. His palace is 68 miles west," "Okay" i said jumping down from my perch. As i started to leave he said "Be careful he is strong" "I've never met a dog i can't kill" I replied as i began my quest west.

"I know she is coming, but she is coming to kill me.'' Sesshomaru thought to himself. "That kisama Naraku took her from me, two centuries ago, he took my beautiful mate Kagome. I know he erased her memories of me. But i know this will be fun, when she comes... i'll be ready, ready to make her remember.

I don't remember anything before i started training with Naraku....its a strange blank spot. I have this strange mark on my neck...i'm not sure if it is a scar or what. It is a large blue cresent moon. It took my a week to reach the palace of the western lands. Everytime i go to sleep i have strange dreams that feel so real. I'm with a man with long silver hair and we are in the throws of passion, everytime i dream this, this thing on my neck burns. When i got to the palace it was dark. "perfect" i thought. I jumped over a large wall and landed gracefully on a balcony. The doors were open... it was as though i was expected. I saw him sitting there in a large chair his back to me, long silver hair blowing in the wind. As quitely as i could i un-sheathed my sword, and slowly walked toward him, my sword in front of me. He was up so fast i had hardly anytime to see his movements. He grabbed my wrist and tossed my sword to the ground. "what happened to you my love?" he asked "I don't know you" i said threw clenched teeth. "Yes you do, do you ever wonder why... you dream the things you do? That mark on your neck or the blank spot in your memory. Naraku took you from me, my love." It was as though his words were the key to un-lock all my memories. I saw so many things after those words were said. I saw us together, the way we met, i saw our mating, i saw when he marked me. I saw so much. I saw the day Naraku kidnapped me and i saw what he turned me into.... a killer for hirer. I fell to the ground and cried. Sesshomaru held me and said. " My Kagome your back, I will never lose you again. We have the rest of our lives to be together.. I love you my Koi" I held on to him as though he would dissapear. " I love you too" I whispered. Now that we had each other again nothing else mattered... except our love.
