Chapter One: Hole In the Wall

Kagome Higurashi didn’t need the job but she could use the extra cash. She was in her final year of Veterinarian school, and a pet store was the perfect job.

        She straightened out her black pencil skirt and smoothed out imaginary winkles on her top before taking a deep breath and walking inside the small shop. It was on a busy street and even when she stepped inside there were a few couples looking around. With a large smile Kagome walked up to a young man.

            “How can I help you?” He asked.

            She stuck her hand out and replied. “Kagome Higurashi here for my ten thirty interview.”
