Prompt Two: Sand

Okay here’s prompt two!

Prompt Two: Sand

Sesshomaru hung up the phone and stood up. Grabbing his phone, keys, and jacket he walked out of his office. As he walked past his secretary he told her, “Cancel all appointments for today.” Before he got  into his personal elevator.

Twenty minutes later he arrived at Café La Brew which was Kagome’s favorite coffee shop. Ever since her and Inuyasha had been dating they had gotten closer. As the sands of time were falling in the hourglass of life Sesshomaru and gotten closer and closer together. As every grain of sand fell Kagome grew further from Inuyasha and closer to him.

As the sands of time went by earlier today Kagome had had enough.  When she found Inuyasha cheating with Kikyo, Sesshomaru knew the last grain of sand had fallen in the hourglass of Inuyasha and Kagome’s relationship.

Sesshomaru looked around for a moment before spotting the little raven haired woman he had fallen in love with. He started toward her and sat down. Seeing her tear stained cheeks and watering eyes, he vowed he would never make her cry.

Taking a sip of the coffee she had ordered for him He began, “You are not planning on going back to the half breed right?”

She nodded. “Good. You shall stay with this Sesshomaru.”

Her eyes widened and she began to protest, “No Sesshomaru I-

He stopped her, “Nonsense. This Sesshomaru and Rin are the only ones there, except for a few servants, and I am sure Rin will have no protests to you staying.”

Kagome was speechless she flung herself at him and hugged him.  “Thank you so much Sesshomaru. I don’t know what I would do without you.”

He hugged her back, “It is this Sesshomaru’s pleasure.”

She leaned back and suddenly flicked him on the nose, “What have I told you about using third person?” She giggled.

He growled lightly, “Human.” He warned, but her smile more than made up for it.

Yes, the sands of time had run out in her and Inuyasha’s relationship, but theirs would be everlasting, just like his love for her.
