Prompt One: Cheat

Kagome lowered her cards from in front of her face, but only enough so that her opponent could see her eyes and up. She raised her brow, and even though he couldn’t see it, smirked.

Sesshomaru looked up and into her beautiful blue eyes, and smirked, he had the perfect plan.

The two had been playing game, after game, of go fish, with Kagome being victorious each time. So, it was time to play dirty.

Sesshomaru stood and set his cards on the table face down. He walked around the table and stood in front of her. Confused and not wanting him to see her cards, Kagome held them against her chest.

Suddenly, he grabbed her and kissed her passionately. Running his tongue along the bottom of her lip asking for entrance, which she granted, closing her eyes and getting lost in the feeling of his lips against hers, she let her cards land on the table as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

Keeping his eyes open, while still kissing her, he looked at her cards, ‘Alright, seven of diamonds, nine of spades, four of clubs, one of diamonds, ten of spades, ace of hearts, and king of clubs, got it.’

Closing his eyes, he kissed her for a few seconds longer before pulling away slowly, he looked at her and saw she was out of breath, “What… was… that…… for?” She questioned gasping for breath.

Sesshomaru shrugged, “Just felt like kissing you.” He turned around and walked back to his seat.

Kagome looked at her cards, and scrambled to pick them up before he saw, it was his turn after all.

Sesshomaru sat down and picked up his cards, “Okay, my turn. Do you have a king of clubs?” He asked her.

Nodding, she handed it over.

“Alright, what about a four of clubs?”

Kagome handed the card over.

“A seven of diamonds?”

She handed it over, and the game continued that way until Sesshomaru had won.

Kagome was confused, how had his luck suddenly changed?

Sesshomaru kissed her head and walked away.

That’s when it clicked.

“Hey! You Cheater!” Kagome called angrily as she took off after him, but the only response she got was an, “I win.”
