Prompt: luck

Kagome tried to hold him, feeling as though she would have much better luck in stopping a storm than the youkai lord, who was adamantine in his firmness to continue forward. It almost made her wonder if she had somehow turned mute to the world, both Inuyasha and Miroku not even waking from their slumber no matter how loudly she shouted. When they managed to fall asleep was just as beyond her as the reason for Sesshomaru losing his control thus. Having enough of it all, the alarmed young woman yanked on his hair, finally seeing something akin to recognition surface in his deep citrine orbs.

“Sesshomaru! Don’t you dare walk off and leave me here with these two! Why aren’t you listening to me?”

Her screeching getting her nowhere fast, she did the only thing her panicked mind could come up with. She slapped him, charging her palm with her energy for good measure.  

Will Kagome save the day (one super slap at a time) or will Sesshomaru choose to go to Kimiko.. Such drama!
