As Kagome was strolling down the path that she’d walk every day in the gardens, she wondered why Rin and Sesshomaru both wanted her out of the house. Shaking her head, she continued on her path. Coming to her favorite nook she took a seat on the white stone bench. Looking at the koi pond with the small waterfall, she felt a calm surround her. Sighing she felt all of the issues she had with Inuyasha fall away.

She no longer cared that he had an affair, or that it was with her sister. Being with Sesshomaru and Rin these past few months Kagome felt a happiness come about her that was missing with Inuyasha. She wasn’t sure when it happened but she was feeling a pull towards Sesshomaru. Kagome didn’t think it was love, at least not the love she had with Inuyasha. It was stronger. It felt much more durable.

When suddenly a bouquet of roses that started out with white and faded to blue towards the face of the flower. Following the arm of the person holding the bouquet her eyes found Sesshomaru’s.

“Kagome, this Sesshomaru would love it if you would accompany me to the house.” At her nod, he held out his arm and led Kagome back to the small surprise party for her.
