Standing on the pier, Kagome was waiting for Rin and Sesshomaru to show up. She’d gotten off of work early to spend the day out at sea with them on the yacht. Today was likely to be one of the last days, as the Indian summer they were having wasn’t going to last forever. Kagome also had a surprise for Sesshomaru that she couldn’t wait to give him.

“Well, well, well what do we have here?”

Kagome whipped around to see Inuyasha leaning against a light pole. “Go away Inuyasha. I’m waiting for Sesshomaru.”

“Haven’t you heard? He’s over you, because he found out how worthless you are. Now, if you come with me, I’ll make sure you’re taken care of- as my mistress.”

“I’m not going with you!”

“But you don’t have a choice. You’re mine!” Inuyasha leapt at Kagome, who had started running away. Neither noticed the crafted masculine locket shaped like a compass that fell out of Kagome’s bag.

Rin skipped down the pier eager for the day to begin. She couldn’t believe Sesshomaru-sama let her out of school to go boating with him and Kagome-chan. But where was Kagome-chan? She said she’d be here. Rin started looking around before finding the compass. Opening it up she saw a picture of herself and Kagome, starting to get worried she turned to Sesshomaru. “I can’t find Kagome-chan!”

As tears started to line Rin’s eyes, Sesshomaru scented out what happened. Smelling Kagome’s fear, and Inuyasha’s lust he growled. “Rin lets go.” He was going to take Rin to Kaede-san. He had a mutt to hunt.
