Kagome sat down with her friend, Sango, feeling a bit discouraged. “At this point I’ll never find my wedding dress.”

“Keep your chin up Kags, we’ll find it. For now, let’s eat our lunch.” Kagome nodded her head in agreement. As she started eating her chicken salad, she just happened to look across the street. There in the store window was a beautiful mermaid shaped dress, of a light, ice blue color. On the waist there was a V of blue and gold. Quickly finishing her lunch, Kagome dragged Sango to the store.

“Excuse me, but, may I try the dress in the window on,” Kagome asked when she came across the elderly woman who ran the store.

“Of course dear, did you know there’s a story behind that dress? It is said that the women who wear this dress are to be wed to some of the most powerful men, and that their love is undying,” the old lady said as she helped Kagome slip on the dress.

Walking out in front of Sango, seeing her face was all the confirmation she needed. “Wow Kagome. What luck was it that you looked across the street, and that we even stopped there! This is perfect! Sesshomaru will love you in it!”

With that said, Kagome slipped out of the dress, and went to pay for it, thanking the woman generously as she left the story. Could this day get any luckier?
