Kagome ran up the stairs and into the house, holding her package carefully, as it was something she didn’t want to hurt. She ran up the stairs and to Sesshomaru’s study. She halted before the door to catch her breath before she composed herself and knocked on the door.

She waited to hear the usual enter before opening the door and slowly entering. She waited for Sesshomaru to finish what he was typing so she could have his full attention. When he finally finished typing and looked up at her, she gave him the cutest puppy eyes she could and said, “Can I keep her;” as she held out a tiny black cat with white paws.
