This was his first day at work in Miroku’s Escort  Service-  a service for  rich women who were lonely and needed a male to be on their arm at important events.

Now he was being assigned to Kagome Higarashi, of Higarashi Inc. her father’s company.

She needed an escort based on all men wanting her fortune and chasing her to her great  dismay!

That is why  she had chosen  HIS service, plus  he was her best friend from the feudal era, who was married to Sango, also her sister in arms.

He had sought Miroku out when his father cut his money off after too many dui’s and not controlling how  much he drank, causing him to make Inuyasha his heir and him a pauper.

So he sought out a friend, formerly of the Tachi Group, and a very successful businessman.

He gave him his assignement, telling him to meet her at her hotel, The Ritz, in room 2445, ask for the key at the desk, and be there by 8:00.

He went home, showered, washed his hair, brushed it until it shined and tied into a ponytail, changed into his suit, and went to meet his date.

He went to the desk, asked for the key for room 2445 and took the elevator to her floor, then knocked on her door.

She answered the door, still getting ready, saying,

“Be there in a minute”

Then she opened the door, dressed to the tees with a blue beaded dress, blue sapphire earrings, and a blue sapphire necklace on a plain gold chain, with minimal makeup- Chinese red lipstick.

 He thought,

‘She is a gorgeous woman, why does she need an escort?’

Seeing that her escort was here, she said,

“Thank you for coming, finding a decent demon to escort me is a pain”

Then he looked looked at her, she was a demoness beyond compare and he would be proud to escort her.

 She noticed that he looked nervous, telling him,

“Don’t worry, I can see you are also a demon, a lonely one like me”

Then they left to go to his father’s party, where he would live with his shame.

The party was at his former home, the Taishou mansion, it was 2 miles from town in the suburbs, they were in her limo, when she asked his name,

“What is your name, sweetie?”

“Sesshoumaru Taisho”

“Aren’t you one of his sons?”

“Yes, but I was disowned because I disgraced the family”

“I think we can help each other out, if you act like my boyfriend, I can help you with your father”

“How?”

“I will seek an audience with him while we are at the party”

Then they had arrived, being announced as,

“Miss Higarashi and her date Sesshoumaru”

She immediately walked up to Inutashio, and asked him,

“May I speak to you in your office, please?”

“What do need to speak to me about?”

“Getting married to your son, for one!”

This made him take notice, and she saw him in his office.

Once they arrived, she spoke,

“I am a demoness that was very lonely, before I met your son, who has given me many days of enjoyment in and out of bed, so I will announce my marriage to him tonight!”

Inutashio was upset.
“Why would you choose this son when Inuyasha runs my company?”

“Inuyasha is not a very good representative of your company, showing bad manners, and no management skills, I have seen him, chasing girls all over the place and bedding them on company time”

“What would you suggest then?”

“Take back your eldest son in his place; he is the best man for the job, especially with me as his wife”

Then she rejoined the party, walking to the stage with Sesshoumaru, walking up to the mic, and saying

“I have an announcement, I, Higarashi Kagome am, engaged to marry Sesshoumaru Tashio, my boyfriend of many months, the wedding will be on April 31 at 9:00 at the Local Catholic Church on 8th street”

Everyone was flabbergasted especially the men, who were hyperventilating!

Then they left the party, and went to see Miroku, her friend, who was going to help her get married!

Once at his office she told him her situation, and asked,

“Will you marry us?being a priest in your own right”

Then he called a Cartierstore downtown asking for immediate delivery of two wedding bands- their very best to his office, in the name of Kagome Higarashi, now!

They were delivered on time, as Miroku asked a real priest to marry them, at his office.

Priest Gregory, married them, saying

“Do you Kagome Higarashi take Sesshoumaru Taisho to be your Husband, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer………..”

“I Do”

“Do you Sesshoumaru Tashio take Kagome Higarashi as your wife to love ,in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer………”

“I Do”

“Then I now pronounce you to be husband and wife………. You may kiss the bride”

Which he certainly did, dipping her down as low as he could and kissing her deepy, passionately…..

Then they put their names in his registry, gave them their wedding license and certificate, and sent them on to their honeymoon.

They took it in her penthouse, where they were mated and lived happily to care for one another and many, many offspring.

By the way, Sesshoumaru did regain his place with his father, especially because he saw with his own eyes the how his youngest was acting, worse than his oldest son ever had.

Besides his wife was rich in her own right, and could keep him in line, witness the too young secretary incident, his secretary is now an older woman whom she is friends with Kagome, and teaches her skills like crocheting, and knitting.
