Quincy Street

Her shallow breathing was distracting, Nakamura Sesshoumaru admitted to himself, but not as much as the movements of her body rubbing against him in this confined space.

The alley was barely two feet in width and if he'd been alone, he wouldn’t have been able to stretch his arms out fully. Not that he could do so now, or would even consider doing. She was moving around enough for the both of them.

Which reminded him: he should probably scold her about that.

"Are you quite finished gyrating against my person?" he bit out as aggressively and as quietly as he could.

He would make sure she understood that his mental state could not take more than the situation they were currently in.

Her body stopped moving at his words and he could feel her glare at him in the darkness. When a few minutes passed without even a twitch, Sesshoumaru started to think that maybe he would be able to get through this. That is, until he felt her small, warm fingers splay against the junction of his hips and abdomen.

He froze.

He didn’t dare move because, for some reason, his body wanted to press further into her whereas his mind was backtracking and screaming at him to get out before he could worsen his headache. Now, why in the seven hells would she dare touch him after he'd expressly told her not to? He waited it out with baited breath.

Her fingers pressed, then released their pressure before repeating. Every time, the amount of pressure increased, his discomfort did in turn. He readied himself to give her an earful when he heard her slight whimper. He trailed his eyes downward, realizing then that her head was lowered and very much lodged between the wall and his chest. He momentarily wondered if she was able to properly breathe in that position.

That mental inquiry clued him in.

Maybe she wasn't coming onto him at what he deemed was the most inappropriate of times.

Maybe she was just suffocating.

He eased himself off her face as much as possible. Immediately, her head shot up, her raven-coloured hair flying everywhere. She huffed and puffed, trying to intake as much air as her small lungs could.

"Took you long enough!" she hissed, bringing up her hands to his chest. "I almost died!"

"I thought I told you to cease your useless movements," he said, ignoring her words and the way her touch was making him feel. He was starting to believe that she was more than unaware of the things she did.

And somehow, that didn't make him feel any better.

"They won't be so useless if I manage to strangle you in this stupid alley," she muttered.

His eyes narrowed dangerously at the threat. His ego wouldn't allow him to be pushed around by some five foot four female. Leaning forward, he made sure to keep eye contact, her head falling back while his hands trapped her on both sides.

She gulped, her courage deflating.

"I think you forget who you're dealing with, Higurashi-san," he said in a low voice that made her more nervous than his usual icy tone.

"Of course not," was all she could manage. He was still getting closer as she tried to duck her head away from his startlingly bright gaze.

"Hn, is that so? Then who, pray tell, do you think to harm with those tiny," he pressed his body into her palms, causing her stomach to do one hell of a flop, "Hands of yours, Higurashi-san?"

"N-not you, Nakamura-san," she whispered.

"What? I didn’t quite catch that."

His mouth was mere inches away from her skin. The slightest move could have his lips upon her flesh. Just one turn of her face could have his lips pressing firmly against hers.

He considered the temptation until a bright light flashed upon them both.

"Found you!"
