Sesshomaru scowled down at the little invitation in his hand, bemused. It was fancy white paper with black letters and designs. Sesshomaru was not confused by the paper that probably cost too much or the swirling words, but by the pairs of butterflies in going down the sides of the border.

“So our theme is butterflies?” He asked finally. Kagome looked up from her stack of invitations that she was signing and smiled at him.

“Yes! Isn’t it wonderful?”

“Uh… It is something alright.” Sesshomaru put the invitation down again and watched his soon to be wife. She was beautiful, happiness radiating from her body. Even the fact that she had to sign what seemed like a thousand invitations did not dull the glow. “We could always forget all of this and just go to Ve-”

“Two butterflies symbolize happiness in marriage. Don’t you think that is a perfect theme?” Kagome asked, interrupting his words. Sesshomaru scowled at her and was only given a smile in return.

“Sure, whatever…” He frowned down at the picture again before something occurred to him. “I won’t have to wear anything with butterflies on it, will I?”

Kagome just smiled at him and continued to write.
