Power of Pause

This is for Lust. I got the idea from Tripod's Make You Happy Tonight. I do not own the song or the words, some of which are used in Kagome's words.

Sesshomaru waited in bed for the one person that could confuse him completely. The reason he was waiting was simple; Kagome had promised to join him in his bed that night. Though it was true that Kagome had her own room for as long as she wanted to stay, sometimes she would stay with Sesshomaru in his room. Whenever she did stay, the puppy was locked out of the room because she did not want Dolly’s ‘innocent eyes’ to see them together. Sesshomaru did not care about the puppy’s eyes, but he did love having Kagome all to himself. She was great in bed.

When half an hour had passed with no sight of the woman Sesshomaru got up from his bed and pulled on a pair of jeans from his dresser. He left the room in search of Kagome, not sure what he would find. Though he was prepared for something strange, he was still caught off guard when he did find her.

“Kagome.” He said from the game room doorway. Kagome did not take her eyes off of the screen in front of her. She was sitting on the couch, leaning towards the TV with a controller held tightly in her hand. Her tongue was stuck out at one side as she concentrated on beating what seemed to be a boss on Kingdom Hearts. Dolly was sitting on the floor at her feet, eyes focused on the TV as much as her owner.

“I’m sort of in the middle of something.” She said, eyes never going to him. “Let me finish this boss.”

Sesshomaru moved forward and stood in front of the TV.

“Uh… Could you move a little to the left baby? I can’t see the TV.” She leaned to the side and continued to hit the buttons on the controller madly. “I’ll make sweet love to you tonight… just let me get to a save point.”

Sesshomaru moved a little, but did not leave the room.

“Pause it.”

“Uh… I just want to finish this.” She said, ignoring his body almost completely. “Maybe you should wait in bed for me. You might want to bring a book with you, the save points are sort of far apart.”

Sesshomaru had enough. He moved next to her and reached over to the controller to hit the pause button. Before Kagome could voice her unhappiness Sesshomaru had her over his shoulder.

“You can finish your game once I am finished with you.”
