Authors Note: The characters may be a bit out of character, but I will try my hardest to keep them as close to the original character as possible. I would love reviews but I am not demanding them, at least not yet. But while I am at it (I do NOT in any shape or form own InuYasha or any of the Character except for those of my own creation).

 “Kagome, you don’t have any appointments tomorrow. You also have a phone call on line one,” Sango said over the intercom. “I’m putting them through now.”

Sighing at the long day behind her, Kagome answered the phone. “Hello, Kagome Higurashi speaking.”

 “Hello. My name is Kaede Kai, and I would like to set up an appointment,” the voice on the phone said

“Ah yes hold for just one second,” Kagome said while pulling up the appointment application on her computer. “May I ask what your relationship is with the patient?” Kagome asked, preparing to fill out the application. Usually she had Sango complete them, but right now she had nothing else to do.

“I’m her caretaker,” Kaeda said.

“Ma’am I apologize, but only a legal parent or guardian can set up this appointment. This is done for legal reasons. I am sorry, but I cannot allow you to fill out this application. If at any time the patient’s parent or guardian would like to fill out the application our hours are from five a.m. to nine p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from twelve p.m. to nine p.m. Friday and Saturday.”

“Thank you Miss Higurashi. Hopefully my employer will be calling you soon,” Kaeda said before she hung up.

Kagome slowly set the phone down on the receiver and stood up. ‘Thirty minutes and then I can go home,’9 Kagome thought as she walked out of her office to her secretary’s desk.

“Sango do you have any paper work left to do,” she asked tiredly.

“No Kagome I’m just waiting until closing.”

Kagome stared at her for a second before smiling. “Go on home Sango, I can handle it. And tell your family I said hello.” Kagome went to the break room to get a cup of tea. She waved a quick good-bye to Sango before re-entering her office.

Once in her office Kagome stared out the window sipping her tea. ‘The sky is so beautiful at night, and the city never sleeps,’ Kagome thought lazily.

Commotion soon filled the room in the form of a tall male youkai. Leaning forward Kagome met the glare of the man.

“How may I help you Sir” Kagome asked slightly agitated.

“I am here to set up an appointment for my daughter,” he said casually as if he hadn’t just stormed into her office.

Sighing, Kagome turned to her computer. “Come in. Please have a seat,” she said motioning to a chair in front of her desk.

“If I may be so bold, are you Mrs. Kai’s employer,” Kagome asked after she had opened the application.

“Hn, Yes I am. I am Sesshomaru Taisho. I would like to set up an appointment for my daughter, Rin,” Sesshomaru said sitting an envelope on the desk. “This is all her information.”

“Well Mr. Taisho all I need you to do is feel out this application,” Kagome said looking at the demon in front of her. A slight blush formed on her face as she really looked at the demon in front of her.

His hair was silky silver and his piercing molten gold eyes looked into her soul. His facial marking were even more beautiful this demon was a god.

Sesshomaru looked at the women before him she was extremely beautiful. He came here expecting to see a nerdy looking female and instead he got a angelic creature.

The basic paperwork took about twenty minutes to receive from the arrogant Taiyoukai. The insurance took even longer to receive.

Her phone rang at that moment.

“Will you please excuse me?” Kagome asked.

Seeing the being nod, she turned slightly in her chair and answered the phone. “Hello, Kagome Higurashi speaking,” There was a long pause as she listened to the other end of the line. “Yes I am fine. Just got an unexpected visitor.” She paused again to listen to the caller. “Yes I will be home soon…. Don’t worry…. Ok.... Bye.” Kagome hung up the phone and turned back to her guest.

“I am sorry about that Mr. Taisho. Shall we continue?” Seeing his nod she continued. “I will need a description of the signs your daughter is showing as well as your personal thoughts on the matter.”

“My daughter shows signs of being severely depressed. She also shows signs of being afraid of males including myself. It is almost like a new phobia. She is not her normal sweet and energetic self. She locks herself in her room and she refuses to eat. When she does eat, she only plays with her food,” Sighing Sesshomaru couldn’t take it anymore “I think somebody has somehow….” He broke off unable to continue.

Sadness filled her for the father before her. She had an idea of what he was trying to say, but she had to hear it from him. He had to say it himself.

“I am sorry Mr. Taisho, but I have to hear the words from you. I cannot make assumptions. That is why I have a tape recorder. You won’t have to say it again unless the authorities get involved. Anything of that caliber is all up to you.” Kagome said understanding clearly in her voice. She crossing her arms over her legs so she wouldn’t reach over and grab his hand.  Reaching in her desk she grabbed her tape recorder.

“I think my daughter has been raped…by someone close to the family,” Sesshomaru said, his voice void of all emotions. “She flinches when I try and touch her and when I go to hug her she almost runs away, she doesn’t interact to any of the male servants any more she even cry’s when they get to close to her.”

Closing her eyes Kagome sent a small prayer to the family. She turned off the tape recorder as painful memories filled Kagome’s head. Shaking them off, she steeled herself for the sake of her client and possible new patient. “I am sorry Mr. Taisho. Truly I am,” Kagome said smiling sadly.

“I have no appointments tomorrow. You may bring her in at one o-clock so we may begin to try and help her. Bring some things that make her comfortable such as toys, teddy bears, anything to make her comfortable,” Kagome said filling out a piece of paper and handing it to him. “This is her appointment schedule. I will need to see her three hours a day starting tomorrow, and every day after that. She will be my top priority until we begin to make progress,” Kagome said handing him her business card. “Here are my personal numbers just in case she needs me.

            “When I treat patients like Rin I like to spend extreme amounts of time with them. I have this procedure that states ‘make them feel as comfortable around me as possible.’ This is a 6 part recovery. I am hopeful that you will not hinder me in my attempts to help your daughter.”

Kagome pulled out a billing plan and handing it to Sesshomaru. “There is a charge of seventy five  dollars a hour. If she ever goes pass her three hour appointments the price goes up to one hundred dollars a hour…”

Sesshoumaru cut her off as he stated, “Money is no option Ms. Higurashi. I will pay any price to see my daughter well again.”

“Well that is all for today then, Mr. Taisho,” Kagome said turning off her computer. “I will walk you out.”

Kagome rose from her seat turning off the desk lamp and walking to the door.

“Hn” was all Sesshomaru said, or more accurately, grunted, as he rose from his chair.

Kagome quickly glanced at the clock on the wall. It read twelve forty five. ‘Sango’s going to be pissed,’ Kagome thought as they headed for the elevator.

She pushed the buttons for the ground floor. They rode down in complete silence, each running thoughts through their head. When the doors opened, they walked to the front entrance to the building. Kagome turned to her newest client.

“Good night. Mr. Taisho I will see you and Rin tomorrow,” Kagome said waving and walking toward her car. She her a faint ‘see you’ to in return.

Kagome’s mind began to wander to her own experiences as she remembered the pain and loss easily. The feeling of sorrow like no one was there for you, no one would help you; her own mother acting as though nothing happened. After her father left, everything changed. Everything turned bad.

Flashback

“Mommy, mommy who is that man?” a young Kagome asked her mother.

“Kagome this is going to be your new father Naraku Onigumo. He’s joining the family,” her mother replied.

“Mom I don’t want a new daddy. I want my old daddy,” Kagome whimpered into her mother’s leg.

Two years later

“Mommy I don’t like the way he looks at me, he looks at me like I’m food or something it really creeps me out,” Kagome said to her mother.

In return, her mother looked at her like she had lost her mind. “Kagome you will never say anything like that again, not to anyone. What’s wrong with you? Are you trying to break up this family? I am pregnant Kagome. What am I suppose to do without him? Don’t you ever say anything like that again? DO YOU HEAR ME DAMN IT?” Ms. Higurashi screamed.

Five years later

Seventeen year old Kagome stood in the bath room mirror trying to cover up the scars as best she could. Her nearly five-year old brother stood in the door way.

“Kagome, why does he hurt you so?” Souta asked while sucking his thumb.

 “No one hurt me Souta I was clumsy and fell down the stairs,” Kagome replied to her little brother while picking him up. “Time for you to go little one,” Kagome said.

Walking through the living room Kagome watched from the corner of her eyes as her mother looked at her with sadness written on her face. Kagome learned to ignore that look. It meant nothing, to her or the situation. Her mother wouldn’t get her out of this mess now like she never did before.

“See you later Souta”

Kagome turned and went into her room turning and making sure all the locks on her door were locked she turned and took her pants of and got in her bed, sleep soon consumed her.

That night

Kagome was jerked from her sleep by a hard pounding on her bed room door. “Kagome let me in, I just want to talk to you,” Naraku screamed through the door. Jumping up and out of the bed Kagome ran to her door making sure all the locks were bolted, what she saw sent fear through her.

The nails were coming out of the wall ‘I have to get out of here,’ Kagome thought rushing for her window preparing to jump out and her door burst open.

“Were do you think you’re going you little bitch,” Naraku screamed grabbing Kagome by her hair slamming her into the wall.

“You thought you could get away again huh you bitch, I’m going to make you wish your mother never birthed your pretty little head.

Then the beating began punch after punch he came at her with no mercy what so ever. Kagome screamed at the pain her body was experiencing.

Sango walked down the street heading to Kagome’s house. ‘I wonder what she’s doing,’ Sango thought stopped in front of Kagome’s house. Hearing loud screams, “What is that” Sango said walking around Kagome’s house and looking up to Kagome’s window where the screaming was coming from.

“god please stop,” Kagome screamed “Somebody please help me!”

Sango grabbed her cell phone and called the police as quick as she could.

“Hello….”

“Hello please send help someone his hurting my friend” Sango screamed into the phone.

“Miss please calm down and give me the address and please stay on the line until the police gets there.”

“Ok but please hurry, he’s killing her.”

Kagome blacked out from the pain she was experiencing.

Naraku laughed and started dragging her out of her room by her hair. Walking toward the stairs he threw her down them laughing as he made his way to her.

“I think I’ll fuck the pretty little face of yours Kagome before I fuck you hard.” Naraku said to Kagome as he ripped her shirt open and started to roughly grab and pinch her nipples through her bra. With his other hand he grab his cock threw his pants and started massage it. Pulling her bra over her breast he sucks one in his mouth and released his cock.

“Kagome I’m going to release this load all over your face.” Naraku said stroking his self harder. Crawling up her body Naraku stroked faster and grunted as his seed spilled all over her face.

Naraku reared back and punched Kagome in her face waking her from unconsciousness.

“I want you awake when I rip you inside out,” Laughed Naraku as he pulled Kagome’s panties down jerking her legs apart “I want to hear you scream.” Naraku said positioning his self to enter her.

A loud boom filled the air as the door flew open. Naraku turned and looked at the door and cursed as the police entered his house. Standing up Naraku looked down at Kagome, “Somebody help me….” Kagome fell silent as Naraku kicked her in her face.

 Watching as Kagome fell silent Naraku attempted to run but a bullet connected with his leg sending him to the ground.

“Naraku Onigumo you are under arrest for the assault and attempted rape of Kagome Higurashi anything you say can and will be against you in a court of law if you cannot afford a lawyer one will be appointed to you.

End flashback  

  Shaking her head and pulling into her driveway. Walking into her house she saw she had a message four messages. “I’ll check them in the morning” She said to herself.

“Time for a long bath,” she said to herself.

Sesshomaru walked into his home, while removing his shoes his head maid walked up to him. “Lord Sesshomaru, Rin has requested to see you she has asked me to tell you.” Akio said bowing and returning to her duties.

Removing his jacket he quickly made his way up stairs, standing outside Rin’s door Sesshomaru knocked.

“Can I come in?” Sesshomaru said asking for permission to come into her room. Loud shuffling could be heard before Rin cracked the door peeking out at her father.

Silent tears fell from Rin’s eyes, “Rin what’s wrong.”

Shaking her head she looked at him with fear in her eyes “Rin I won’t hurt you please don’t fear me.” Sesshomaru said Crouching so he was looking right in her eyes.

“Please, please wait,” Rin said turning and walking back in her room and in her closet. She listens as her father pushed the door all the way open watching what she was doing.

Grabbing the trash bag she turned and faced her door.  Walking to her father and placing the bag at his feet. Grabbing the bag Sesshomaru opened it.

The smells that assaulted his nose sent a terrifying shiver down his spine. Blood, Semen, and sweat jerking his head to his daughter he saw the Silent tears turn to big tears of anguish.  

“I’m sorry I wanted to tell u but I was so afraid,” Rin said looking at Sesshomaru.

Rising off the ground Sesshomaru offered his hand for Rin to take it, When she did he lead her out of her room and into his study. Sitting her on the couch he walked to sit behind his desk dropping his face in his hands. “Rin this is not your fault, I’m sorry this happened to you I really am but it’s going to be ok we’ll get you help for this I’ll make sure the bastard that did this to you life is taken buy my claws.” Sesshomaru said not realizing that tears were running down his face.

Rin however did see them and she wonder if what that man said was true. ‘if he doesn’t care then why is he crying’ Rin thought before the desire to sleep took over her.
