A young girl no older than five herd a faint voice call out to her in the near distance.....looking up in the sky she noticed how the clouds hung low and the skys darkened, it must be her mother calling her home because she lost track of time playing in the flower fields.

I better get home fast.

Turning around and began humming a tune as I only to be stopped by the sudden jarred feeling of being watched now feeling a little uneasy I tried to calm my little nerve least I over react to what seems to be nothing. I continue up the dirt path to my home but was stopped when i herd the rustling of something in the bushes and once again felt that strange pull like some was calling into something deep inside me tingling at the edge of my senses. Feeling like a deer being hunted like prey as poppa would frequently say when ever I was caught doing something displeasing to him. I slowly walked over to see if there was something there but after moving them i found nothing but still herd the noise.

Is anybody there?....momma?

I asked aloud half hoping they wound answer my voice and that it was my okaa-san but no answer came only the sound of the noise and i sigh a little and quickly get up but turn around slowly when i feel some ones eyes watching again.

Electric blue eyes widen with worry and fear as I fully turn around praying to what ever kami was listening Nothing would jump out and get me....now fully turned around to see nothing but a big Sakura tree relieved and anxious to get this bubbling feeling in my stomach to go away I continued on.

IS ANY BODY OUT THEREEEEEEE!

I yelled as i herd another noise come from behind me.knowing that mamma should be see to hear me in a short distance that I was from home least I not make it i gulped shaking my head of those scary thoughts and with lighting fast speed i turned to make a run for it not really wanting to know what it was anymore only to run into a miny wall falling fat on my butt I look up......for a moment electric  blue meet molten gold eyes that held me captivated so drawn into them i didn't even take notice that i was getting up to move closer to the source until I was face to face with a boy looking no older than myself.

Hey! What where you doing hiding and lurking around you scared me really badly I scolded hi much like momma would do if I didn't get home soon.

I-i-i- um wanted to um .... 

But before he could finish what he was saying said momma busted into the clearing looking ready correct war pure pink energy radiated off her in waves and all I could do was stare in awe. 

Kagome! didn't you here me calling you.? Mommas voice ringed with worry and irratation as she glared down at me with a frown that didn't fancy to well with me i never liked to see momma mad and that anger was directed at me so that wasn't good either.

I'm sorry momma .......but there was some..one a boy he was just standing right here then you came and he just vanished into thin air i said trying to prove my point in why i was so late but all i got was a raised brow and a scowl from her. 

I pouted and  crossed my hands over my tiny chest and turned the other way with a huff of disbelief as I realized even to my own ears the story sounded ridiculous. 

Well he just was here.! I said turning back to her as she grabbed my arm and lead the way back home.

"Um hum.. lets go Kagome no more playing games you know that it is dangerous out here when it gets dark what if a demon got to you before I did? She said to me while still pulling me along .

I'll be back tomorrow I thought as i continued to walk with my Okaa-san down the dirt path back t home.
