Summary:Sesshoumaru can never sleep too soundly. But with company, he might be able to let go just once. Not just anyone's company though.

A dog demon was laying against a tree, trying to sleep, but he knew he couldn't afford the luxury. Jaken and Rin had gone off picking flowers or something of the sort. He had no idea where the girl was though. What was her name, Kagome? He knew he made a mistake when he let her travel with him. Suddenly, a feminine voice rang through his ears interrupting his thoughts. It was her.

''Sesshoumaru, there you are!'' The school girl waved as she appeared to his sight. ''Where have you been all this time miko?'' He asked in his usual uninterested voice, he was curious though. He was disgusted to admit it, but he liked her scent.

Kagome blushed a little, scratching her head with one hand, the other clutching the hem of her skirt. ''Sorry, I went home to visit.'' She sat down next to him, putting her knee's to her chin. The demon lord closed his eyes once again.''Se-Sesshoumaru, are you tired?'' She leaned over to make sure he could hear her. ''No, I was trying to nap earlier but I couldn't. A demon always keeps look out. But, with your presence for some reason... I don't care.''
