Summary: Kagome's strive to get her Doctorate in Criminal Law has hit a major speed bump.  A need for revenge and justification will finally get her over the hurdle, but at what cost?

　Her grade point average had dipped well below her usual honors level scores. And it was all because of that stuck up, silver-haired asshole sitting directly in front of her in the Criminal Justice course. If only Kagome had gone into medicine, like her grandfather had urged, instead. Alas, such was not her fate.

   It seemed destined that she would never be taken seriously by the professor, simply because that infuriating male in front of her would always find a way to make even her most ingenious interpretation and explanation seem like nothing more than a stab in the dark. Even her dissertation on Human Trafficking Laws of Eastern Asia was given low marks. If only there was some way to pull her grade back up.

   Suddenly, a mental switched was flipped in her head; and she had the perfect solution to her troubles. She would request that Sesshoumaru become her tutor. All she had to do was talk the old fart into believing it was necessary for her continued education. It meant wounding her own pride, but the cost was worth it. Not only would her marks substantially improve; but she would be able to torment Sesshoumaru in return.
