Hysterics

Prompt 1: Histrionics

Kagome sighed, slouched on the couch in her living room.  Three days since the wedding and Sesshomaru had already returned to work.  Figures.  It had been great the first two days, though.  Plenty of romantic strolls in the moonlight (okay, maybe like... two and a half), waking up to find that Sesshomaru had made her breakfast and was standing naked beside the bed...  Little things like that.

Then he got the call.  The dreaded ‘Sesshomaru, we need you because we can’t do a thing without you to hold our hands!’ call.  And he’d stayed the rest of the day there.  The next day, he’d informed her that their honeymoon was officially over because there was some sort of predator in the corporate world.

Aside from Sesshomaru.

Well, she’d show him a predator.  If she had to resort to histrionics to get his attention, then so be it.  She got up to prepare.

“Sesshomaru!”

Sesshomaru looked up as he entered, then stopped and stared.  “Ka... Kagome?” he asked, stunned.

Kagome stalked forward and slammed the door shut behind him.  “Sesshomaru, I am sick and tired of you running off for that stupid job of your’s!  We’re supposed to be on our honeymoon, you jerk!”

With an effort, Sesshomaru looked into her face.  “Kagome... While I understand your position-”

“No, Sesshomaru.  No, you don’t.  But you will,” she said menacingly, propping a hand on her bare hip.  “Oh, you will.”

“Kagome?  But why are you naked?”

He soon found out.
