Seshoumaru watched Kagome in amusement as she hit her stride. Her voice continued to rise as she berated the rude village Headman. A small smile graced his face as he stepped up behind her.

“YOU ARE SUCH A NARROW MINDED INDIVIDUAL,” Kagome yelled at the man as she stalked forward, poking a finger in his chest. “YOU---,” Kagome began but was interrupted; spun around to land against a hard muscled chest. “Wha? Oomf!”

Sesshoumaru spun Kagome around, pulling her up against his chest and crushed his lips against hers. A low moan escaped her throat and he chuckled as he smiled against her lips.
