This was written for Stella's Proverbial Challenge, prompt: If you live on the river, befriend the crocodile.

"Daddy! We went on a play date today!" Toraburu yelled happily at his father as he walked through the door.

Sesshoumaru raised a brow at Kagome in curiosity. "I thought you were not a fan of organized playing."

"Well, I met Sango at the park and we get along. I figured I've got to be there anyway so the boys can run off some energy. I might as well get a little adult conversation out of it."

"Does this Sesshoumaru not count?"

Kagome laughed at his pout. "You try talking to just these guys for hours. You'd go insane too!"
