Conversation at Twilight

An: This is my very first story so please be kind to me it was just something that randomly popped into my head so I wanted to try it.

It was twilight by the time Sesshoumaru and Kagome finally had time to sit down and find a date for their mating ceremony.

“How about next Saturday?” Sesshoumaru asked.

“New Moon.” replied Kagome with a shake of her head.

“ Ahh Inuyasha’s human night. So that’s a no.” Sesshoumaru crossed that off his mental list.

“The Saturday after?’ asked Kagome

“It is an Eclipse.”

“Right.” Being that he was of the house of the moon it was in poor taste to mate under an eclipse.

“What about the next week?” he asked

Kagome though for a second and then answered with a smile “No that won’t work either that’s breaking dawn”

“Oh right. Wait…what?” Kagome burst out laughing at his answer.

“Nothing forget it that’s fine with me.” She got up kissing him on the cheek and left the room laughing. Sesshoumaru sat perplexed and worried for the sanity of his soon to be mate.
