****DEEPEST OF BETRAYALS****

         Kagome used her newly learned abilities to jump swiftly and easily from the old well. she landed softly with her huge yellow pack in hand. She slung it over her shoulder and was about to start walking when her long beautiful black hair with purple streaks blew in the wind moving from her eyes and allowing her to see the silver string type thing glide past her.

        'Kikyo's soul collecters.' They looked to be heading into the forest. Kagomes eyes widened considerabbly as realization hit her like a ton of bricks.  

         'She with future mate. Grrrrrrr.' Kagome's beast was mad almost to the point of taking control. Kagome wanted to see for herself if he really was with her even though she was pretty much sure he was.

         Kagome started her trek down the over used path to the Goshinboku. As she was fast approaching it she used her demonic energy to hide her aura and scent from the hanyou. 

         "Kikyo I've told you before she's nothing to me!! She's just a copy of you! I could never love her she's weak and pathetic and I'm always having to save her I'm dropping her from the group today and you could take her spot!" Inuyasha exclaimed desperatly to the woman he 'loves'.

         Inuyasha leaned in for a kiss and when they were mere centemeters apart a dark purple acid whip shot from between the trees and was only inches from burning part of their face off. "What the hell!" Inuyasha exclaimed. "Show yourself you bastard!" Inuyasha demanded. Kagome stepped from behind the trees and smirked at him. "My Inuyasha what are we going to do about your language?" "Kagome?"

        "What's the matter Inuyasha? Don't you recognize me?" Kagome asked lightly. "K- Kagome it's not what it looks like I love you and only yo-"

        "Save your breath Inuyasha. Your not worth my time." With that Kagomme turned and left the forest. She walked for miles and finally stopped to rest. She sat down and leaned against a tree. As she sat there she couldn't help but doze off. She didn't know but in her subconcious she was crying about Inuyasha.

***Sometime Later***

        "Huh?" Kagome awoke and was staring into molten gold eyes. She reached back her arm to punch him thinking it was Inu, but he caught her hand and she realized it was Sesshomaru. "Oh. Sorry Sesshomaru." She took her arm back and relaxed "So, why are you here?" she asked.

       "Why are you on my lands?" Sesshomaru retorted. "I asked you first. Hmph!" Kagome turned her head and she heard a chuckle. She turned back around and looked at him incredulesly. "Did you just chuckle?" Sesshomaru just turned away. "Sess-" She was cut off by the feeling of his lips on herts and she melted into the kiss.

        Sesshomaru parted and asked her "Will you Allow me to court you Kagome?" Kagome was shocked and over joyed. She quicley agreed. "Of course." She squealed and pulled him in for another kiss.

***Ten Years Later***

Kagome looked out the window over the gardens of the Western Palace, and saw her pups playing across the yard. She felt a hand snake across her waist and she leaned back on his chest. "Hello dear." Kagome leaned back with a content smile and watched her children play. 'This is my family now this is my life and Inuyasha shall never take it away.'
