Once-upon-a-time was quite different from our time. There were battles raged daily between humans and demons, and in the midst of the fighting, a powerful jewel known as the Shikon no Tama came into existence. It escaped the Once-Upon-A-Time-Land and traveled to the Today-World, where it was sealed inside a young shrine maiden. However, Fate is an almost inescapable force, bound to all things of the Universe, and the fate of the Shikon no Tama was to return to the Once-Upon-A-Time-Land and wreak havoc for many years. It dragged the girl back to the war torn land, and there, Fate once again dealt its hand- this time, it brought the maiden, a half demon, a kitsune, a demon slayer, a fire cat, and a monk together to destroy the Shikon no Tama. Together, the band of friends roamed the land to seek out the Jewel, and rid the world of another, evil hanyou who would use the power of the Shikon no Tama for his own selfish purposes.

Their fates are sealed.

This is a story of a demon lord, a young girl, and the mysterious power she wields- a power that has the ability to transcend all things- even the mighty hand of Fate itself.
