Sesshomaru: “What is it?”
Rin: “Can I ask you something, My Lord?”

Rin: “ Where do babies come from?”
Sesshomaru: “……………Rin?”
Rin: “ Yes, Lord Sesshomaru?”
Sesshomaru: “ Wait here. I will return shortly.”
Rin: “Okay.”

Kagome: Humming while picking herbs.
Sesshomaru: “Miko?”
Kagome: “Mm?..Oh! Hello Sesshomaru. What are you doing here? Do you need something?
Sesshomaru: “This Sesshomaru is seeking advice in how to answer a question from Rin.”
Kagome: “Oh, well I’ll be happy to help. What did she ask you?”
Sesshomaru: “Rin asked me where do babies come from. And I am not certain if human children are allowed to know that sort of thing yet.”
Kagome: “ I see, well that’s easy! You can make up a lie to her.”
Sesshomaru: “…make up a lie?..”
Kagome: “Yes. You can tell her a demon baby sets out to deliver babies to human villagers and demons. You don’t have to tell her the truth.”
Sesshomaru: “Why would I tell her such a lie?”
Kagome: “ So you wouldn’t have to tell her the truth.”
Sesshomaru: “ I don’t think that is the proper way to answer Rin.”
Kagome: “*Sigh* or you could just tell her she is still too young to know. That’s simple, and not a lie.”
Sesshomaru: “…This Sesshomaru would consider it.”
Kagome: “Great!”

Rin: “Lord Sesshomaru! You’re back!”
Sesshomaru: “ You are still far too young to learn where babies come from.”
Rin: “….Why?”
Sesshomaru: “…Why?”
Rin: “Yes Lord Sesshomaru, why is it that I am still too young to know?….Where are you going my Lord?”

Sesshomaru: “ So I should simply tell her that?”
Kagome: “Yes!”
Sesshomaru: “ I see then, I thank you for your time, Miko.”
Kagome: “ Anytime, Sesshomaru.”
