A/N: I really hope you guys like it, having reviews would be wonderful but I know most people don’t review (tear). I will say, I am EXTREMELY sarcastic and if I ever right an author’s note or anything of that sort I apologize in advance if I offend someone. Any who, I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it. :)

“Sesshomaru-kun!” A little girl yelled. She was wearing a royal blue kimono with a sakura petals scattered throughout the fabric, a matching royal blue obi with the same pattern as her kimono, and a pair of sandal wood geta. She had long black hair with two stripes of blue on each side, light blue eyes, two red stripes lining each cheek, and two dragons enlaced together in the center of her forehead, showing that she was the princess of Eastern Lands. She ran up to the boy just a head taller than her and smiled at him enthusiastically, “I got your good-bye present!” She held up a white gold necklace with a white gold moon encrusted with sapphire and a yellow diamond heart in the middle.

The boy known as Sesshomaru gave a wide smile, “I’m glad you like it Kagome-chan.” He had long silver hair, golden eyes, two magenta stripes on his cheeks, and a blue moon centered on his forehead symbolizing that he was the heir to the Western Lands. Sesshomaru was wearing a white haori with red on the bottom of his sleeves, a white hakama and black boots. “I’m sorry I had to give it to you last minute, the gems were extremely hard to find.” He chuckled nervously.

Kagome looked at her friend with an odd expression and then smiled, “you’re so silly Sesshomaru-kun!” Kagome then giggled and hugged Sesshomaru, although stunned for a moment, he returned the hug back. “Promise me when I come back that you’ll be here and nothing will have changed.” She looked up at him with a determined look.

Knowing the look, Sesshomaru knew it best not to argue with the fiery willed girl in front to him. Giving a sigh, he stepped back, held her shoulders, and looked into her eyes, “I promise.” Kagome smiled, then squealed and proceeded to clap her hand excitedly.

“Come on, you still have to say good-bye to my okaasan!” Kagome said as she grabbed his hand and began pulling him towards the castle, since they were in the gardens. Kagome then stopped abruptly, “I almost forgot!” Kagome pulled out a white and green jadeite shaped into a lily, with the stem made from Chinese gold, and even though beautiful, it was no more than four inches in length and three inches in width. “As long as you have it, I know that our friendship shall never be forgotten,” she gave him a small smile as she handed to him.

Sesshomaru stared at the gift in his hand and said in a whisper, “thank you Kagome-chan.” He stared at it for a couple more seconds and then looked at Kagome once more, “you go on ahead.” Kagome gave him another odd look but proceeded to run back to castle.

Sesshomaru sighed as he looked back at the gift his friend left him; she was the only one that didn’t know that she wouldn’t be coming back. He knew that the war would be starting soon and that this was for her safety, after all, the descendent of Midoriko would not be welcome in this time of war. He looked up at the sky, he wasn’t yet of age to fight but he was able to protect himself. Kagome, however, was a treasure to both the West and the East, she was to be entrusted with Shikon no Trama when the time was right. Again, the young Lord sighed, he would never see her again, his chiisai-yuri.

Long creamy legs dangled over the lips of the accent well as a young girl heaved a large yellow backpack over her shoulder.  She grunted as she dropped to the ground, not so gracefully but straightened up elegantly. The girl then turned towards the village in the distance, she had been hunting the shards of Shikon no Trama, which she had broken, for a little of three years now. The girl went by the name Higurashi Kagome and started on this journey when she was merely fifteen years of age. Kagome sighed and started towards the village where her companions would be waiting for her. She had been gone a little over a month to finish her finals for high school, which she passed, and receive training from her okasan and ojisan regarding a certain part of her lineage.

Upon graduating, she was told that her otoosan was lord of the Eastern Lands and received a necklace from a friend long ago. The friend’s name was never told to her, however, she was told that she was in fact a full youkia and not just any youkia she was a Daiyoukia. If that wasn’t enough information at once, she also found out that Sota is only her half-brother and the otoosan she knew was actually her giri no chichioya. Sighing again, she recalled having, literally, twelve years of training she missed forced into her memory through a ritual.

‘Great,’ Kagome thought, ‘and the best part is I can’t tell a soul until my real otoosan knows I’m back so he lift the damned concealment spell.’ She thought bitterly, ‘absofuckingtabulous!’ Personally, Kagome had no idea how she was going to hide her new power and fighting skills in battle. Yes, to her, this was going to be her personal hell.
