“You will never defeat me Lord Voldeeemort!”  The proclamation of success came from a small ebony haired boy with swiveling puppy ears on the top of his head.  With a bed sheet draped around his shoulders and the stick from a recently eaten Popsicle in his hand he lunged forward to deliver a blow to his target.  “STUPIFY!” he yelled, then stood on top of his father’s chest waving his arms in victory.

“I have you now, Harry Potter!”  Sesshomaru yelled with mock wickedness, and unleashed a tickle attack on his son.

“Daddy….that’s….not…fair!!” he managed to get out between giggles.

From the window Kagome looked on at the two most special people in her life.  She didn’t think “Lord Voldeeemort” knew just how lucky she felt at that very moment.
