She stared down at the box in her hand with confusion. Did he seriously mean what this ring entitled? Did he really want to pursue this with a human? And with her no less?  Kagome looked at the demon lord that stood before her down on one knee. Amber eyes stared at her with such emotion Kagome was almost left speakless.

“Are you sure?”, she asked praying that he was in fact sure of what he was doing.  The demon lord gave a tiny smirk before replying.

“Of course miko, I have waited 500 years to do this.”, he said as Kagome began to cry and jumped on him giving him his answer.
