She was so soft. The petals of a blooming cherry blossom learned long ago to envy her skin.

Her dark, sooty lashes fluttered as he took pleasure in caressing her sleeping face.

Her lips were like velvet. Red in color and rich in flavor. So tempting for someone so young.

Her hair flared about her like a curtain of dark silk. Kami, how he loved her hair. He gently grasped a single strand, and brought it to his nose.

She smelled of him. However, under the layer of his scent, was a delectable perfume of the gods.

To the intense satisfaction of his beast, there was also an even headier scent of their son. She positively reeked of it. Good. He and his beast liked it that way.

"Goodmorning, love." Kagome whispered, as she cuddled closer to his chest. Sesshomaru was slightly startled he had been so lost in his observation that he hadn't noticed her awakening

His deep voiced rumbled through his chest, tickling her ear. "Goodmorning, love."
